Maserati MC12 by Edo-Competition (Veyron-opponent!?)

I saw this sexy beast today near the Nürburgring..

The custom paintjob was just beautiful! Thanks to TT i know now that it's the only tuned MC12 in the world, by Edo-Competition (http://www.edo-competition.net/). They got the order from Masearti to modify a standard MC12 to break the 400 km/h-barrier.

Did they give it a true dual exhaust is the only question i have? :wink: But 0-186 in 22 seconds isn't bad all though, so goog job to Edo but how would it do against an FXX? My guess is that it wouldn't be on par with it in the turns and braking but accelleration must be there or even better. Thanks for the post dodo.

i've heard a lot in my life, from zondas, over cgt's racing by, to several enzos next to each other.. but trust me: this thing tops it all! unbelievable.. awesome! indescribable..

i was standing less than 1m behind it and the running engine was simply astonishing! the vibrations went through the asphalt into to my feet, up my legs, into my *peep* which immediately gave "standing" ovations!
..the sound can't be street legal!

i can't explain this.. it's completly beyond all description!

but the girl who drove the mc12 is younger. i guess ~25 years!?

that was kinda cool.. she opened the doors, showed people the inside, opened the hood, answered questions, stared the engine and then she steped aside and watched other people watching her car! :D
