God damn it, RC! I told you my team of scientists already proved the tropical wave was formed by the butterfly in Jordan!

It's good to hear you're OK, CG. I've had an MIG29 fly above my head (100 m or so high) at an airshow and it was fucking insane. The ground was shaking and the sound was almost unbearable.

not necessarily, I think ive actually been having good luck in this last week. and I didnt really think the plane trying to take me out was very bad, I kind of thought of it as a nice cool thrill.

as for the plane landin on some small road, the interstate 5 is the biggest freeway in this state, with ALOT of traffic... I cant belive it didnt take out any cars.

I had 3 mig 29s flight about 20m above my head during training, I was swimming at an old abondoned water pump facility with some friends, its close to a near by bombing range, good thing they were coasting or else Id have no ear drums left. Was very lucky.

Well being a pilot...I can say there was probably a good reason for landing on the freeway, possibly some kind of serious mechanical failure or (I sure hope not) ran out of gas . No pilot is going to land on the freeway unless they absolutely have to...

i dont think you need to be a pilot to assume that, also the article says the plane had engine trouble after takeoff

Pilots that don't check their fuel level or don't switch tanks or neglect to estimate burn rate? Nah, never happens!
If I had a dime for every time I have heard stories about pilots running out of fuel, I'd have a Ferrari by now.

Yep - when ever you have amatuers that don't follow procedure and the book to the letter you get this scenario... :)

Goes back to the old saying "You have old or bold pilots... but never old and bold ones...." hehe :)

Lot's of people think process and procedure is for pussies... :)
