Also I heard this on the radio the other day :

Mike Rutherford talks to Tiff Needell about 5th Gear etc. Tiff confirms that he is still a good friend of JC as many of us said a while back when someone said they "hated" each other.

this episode sounds incredible, it seemed that 5th gear started the season in excellant style with the first couple of episodes then it started to drop off.
now it looks as if they are on the way up again, IN A BIG WAY!! 6 of the best perofrmance cars, i wonder what they are??
looking forward to it jabba.
it is also good to hear that tiff and Jeremy are still friends.

So TT was right, they were saving up the budget for that fastest sportscar show! Can't wait to see it.

i dun think they are saving budget or whatever
the cars on the show are probably from the manufacture that lend them the car for teh tapping,. so is basically free cuz they want to promote their cars

So maybe some manufacturers prefer to give their cars only to Top Gear to get better coverage...

I also think 5th gear is trying to turn toward a different public, with lots of feature that can interest the "average" driver, like gatsos, accidents, small cars and so on...

IMO i just find Top Gear more interesting... probably becausei am a still teenager,, and still interested in expensive cars, and fast sport cars, and not some safety stuff...

also a big advantage top gear has over 5th gear is the track..... 5th gear dont have their own track,, and rarely take cars on teh track

For me TopGear is just infotainment. OK, their BMW M series episode and Lambo 'special' were great but I feel that 5th Gear leaves them dead in the tracks.
Much more informative and Tiff and VBH are both in a league of their own

i wouldn't be able to decide which one is better. top gear has jeremy to give humour, but then you have tiff's drivving skills which i still thinks better to watch than the stig

good news! Im also startin to like top gear more cus One, Clarkson is gettin funnier, and they have the Stigg, who rips the cars through the track!!

5th gear is good too but sometimes the shows get boring especially when they have those two other assholes :lol: :lol: the doughboy and oldie 0X

yeah the simon cowell interview was very funny and entertaining, plus cowells very VERY impressive lap time. that show was great.

OK its official Jeremy Clarkson cant drive.
Simon Cowell had a faster lap time!!!! On his third try. And Clarkson drives the track constantly, and has done so for over a year now.

Remember Clarksons timed lap was with 3 other people and a camera crew on board
