Sadly prevew only.. I've got 160 pics to edit, but what a day! I hope to come back with the full stuff soon, but since I am doing so many "in depth" these days, I fear I need to put them in queue to keep some rythm between street sightings and indepth (I have at leat another two planned for this month).

But this is so hot in my blood that the best idea is to talk about it right away..

So, basically thanks to the asphalte.ch forum and meeting, I am starting to know more car nuts in the region, some of them with some cute cars :D It's natural to ask them if they wan't to help with my indepth features and well, here are the first three that said yes

So, at 10 O'Clock I had a meeting with the Elise and NSX, the plan was to drive in the mountains, same road we took for the meeting, but on a sunny day, and take some pics.

The picture taking went pretty smooth, but beeing such a nice day, plenty of ppl everywhere...

I was of course passenger in both cars, and even drove the Elise. Actually I also had to park the NSX, so technically I drove it for 60 meters maybe :D impressed by the ultra firm and short traveling clutch pedal and ridiculously short throw grearshift! Amazing!

Beeing passenger in the NSX is impressive, it's a 1991 model I think but it still look ice IMO, what perfectly balanced shape, so modern, so sporty, so sexy especially in black. it turn heads and it goes! It really does, the wide revs range sure adds to the aura, flooring any gear will bring up such a urge, such a growl and such an endless thrust, with the next gear coming only after somethign like 50'000 or 60'000 rpm I think :D the sound inside the cabin is brillant, even better than outside despite the aftermarket exhaust. The brakes are the business too, the car seems balanced, can go through corners at incredible speeds, it still is very practical and comfy inside. To be honest, despite the badge problem, that's as many already said, true supercar blood, a car to check out when on the market, and a car that can rack up MANY km without a problem!

The Elise? This is not a 111R, so it is the "stock" 120ish hp model, but as you might expect, with a kerb weight of 20 kg, even with two ppl onboard, it flies! And you know what? I drove it! Another generous owner who likes to share his passion!
of course you don't dare to push to the limits such car, I never got close to the redline (6500 rpm I think) and never really pushed into corners, but it's BRILLANT! The steering (not assisted) has perfect feeling, it is heavy, sure, parking is not that cool, but once rolling you can't ask for more.. small steering wheel, ultra direct linking, perfect feedback! never drove something that makes you feel connected to the road like this Elise! It's funny!!!! The brake pedal (not assisted), is HEAVY too, but again, such a feeling!!!! Clutch is pretty light, precise and easy to use, the gears can be slotted in quite easily and heal and toe is easy too. Soundtrack is perfect too (sport exhaust) and to drive without the roof in a sunny Autumn day is so cool! I want one!!!!!!!

Finally, back home for 30 minutes and then I had rendez-vous with the Murcielago owner, Shini's friend actually, and like Shini, one of the coolest guys on earth! it is always funny for me to talk in english, but it was ok and I can still make ppl understand my blabbering :D
We went again up the hills/mountains for a pretty long drive, 1 hour or more I think, trying to find some nice spots, sadly with the sun coming down, it was a nightmare and many pics are crap I fear :?
But well, this was my second Murcielago ride and as special as the first time.. that car sure is a special car.. to open the door, once, twice, 10 times, it is something I could do all day long! The soundtrack, the thrust, the aura.. impossible to describe, you have to try it for yourself! I really can't thank the owner enough, I really owe him big time, and Shini's too, since it is thanks to him if we met ;)

So basically, today goes straight into my "best days of my life" list :D

Sorry for teasing you with just three pics, but I have no time to edit them all and still think I needed to write down such things right away before they will cool down (will they?)

I really need to try an NSX one day, it seems like a pretty cool car, even if the only Honda I really like is the S2000 (I'm quite a Cabriolet fan).

So, did Seravi push his Murcielago like a mad man, haha :D I think he's not too afraid to rev her up and scream down the roads ;)

Well Shin, he did at times, but let's say there was an unwanted meeting with guys in blue right at the start (nothing major) :(

Cool!! A few pics but your story tells already a lot of what you experienced today...

I think I will have a look more regularly to the asphalt site, particularly in the meeting section. May be I can find a cool event somewhere in switzerland where I could join with my speedy and discuss with other fanatics

well done !

The preview pics are already great. Nice shot of the Elise from a frog's perspective and the shadows falling on the orange Murcié  Great pics. And some really nice rides, especially the Lambo. But I think the highlight of the day prolly was driving the Elise for 60 km. It may only be the base model, but it sure can give the driver many thrills.

I'm looking forward to all the pics ;)

Well, for sure the Elise is the closer you can get to a go kart on the road, you feel really connected with the car, everybody should try one. Really impressive on a mountain pass!

The NSX's main concern, as you said, it's the price vs badge thing. It is expensive, but ppl just see an Honda. While the NSX is packed with technlogy, it goes, it rarely has problems and it's sexy! Too bad sales never exploded around here.

Fantastic TT 8) Can't wait for the full features

I guess everybody is right about the Elise... a pure drivers car, and very kind of the owner to let you drive it.

The thing on the rear-view mirror in the Murcie reminds me of sweetie's avatar

Keep up the good work mate, because at the moment (at least) i can only dream of such things

Awesome.....I can understand your excitement as I've been passenger in these cars also, but not driven an Elise. Always nice to see an owner willing to hand over the keys - not that you expect it really.

The Murcielago, was it an egear or "proper" manual?

Look forward to the full features. :D

Proper manual obviously and an owner happy to use like it should and not a cruiser, 12'000 km, third clutch :D
