the most interesting prospect in the near future is a track event full of Alfa Romeos in less then a week :)
should be fun, and i hope to see a few newer alfas there too

its about a 3 hour drive from autozone, unfortunately ive been a bit thin on $ to make the drive to autozone, but the track day will be a blast!

im going to get some awsome pictures for it too :)

if you do find out you have the time to come out, you have a place to stay if you want

90's alfas are welcome, and usually illinois/indiana/michigan/ohio/and wisconson plates show up in South Haven for club events... im not sure how many are invovled yet; but the possibility for portions of 11 separate chapters :)

alfa event 1, Check, at least 30 pics worth sharing, mabey more out of the 200+ i took... ive already weeded out the clearly not so good, and there were a lot of repeat-like events (cars going around a corner is much the same from corner to corner on a still camera) so, i'll be picking the best of the bunch, plus a Evo VII + Lotus Elise photoshoot that turned out nicely

so after a very exhausting day....
turns out ive been invited to Alfa event 2 tomarrow (10-16-05) morning in Grand Rapids!!!

too damn early, and not enough sleep.. . and the GP is on tonight... oh man, damn my norther european heritage (sun burned)

When did they stop importing them to the US? I think there is a 164 at work but it must be a late 80s/early 90s one. It is the only Alfa I have seen about, as well. Very rare.

You didn't ever get the GTV Coupe and Spider offically imported here? (see piccy)

That black one I posted comes in 2.0 Twin Spark (150hp) 3.0 V6 (190) 3.0V6 24V (210) and in Italy they get a 2.0V6 Turbo (190)

When I lived in Munich I knew of some guys who had all 4 versions between them (1 each of a different engine)

The 3.0 V6 is one of the nicest sounding motors out there IMHO

definately!
the black one i saw was pushing right around 300+hp(24v dohc), and it sounded amazing.. there was another 3.0 24v, it sounded great, but nowhere near this other guys' alfa... to bad i cant record vid on my camera

The 3.0 V6 is a joy to drive as well. Smooth from low revs with an appetite for the red line. At full throttle it sounds magnificent and it pulls fantastically. With an engine like that you can really make the most of your gears. It's a shame they've seized prodution.
