where to go kart in toronto?

Does anybody know a good, fast place to go kart? i dont have a car, so near a subway station would be nice. is the playdium go karting any good?

there's a Playdium out in Mississauga that has AMAZING go-karts as well as, of course, a massive arcade inside.

if you don't know where it is exactly, go here (http://www.playdium.com/playdium.php) and snoop around.

Also, and you (hopefully) know of this place, there's Canada's Wonderland, which has probably the one of the best go-kart tracks i've ever driven, but of course there's the massive entrance fee, so you may wanna go there for stuff other than the go-karts 8)

There's a place called Formula Kartways kinda in the middle of nowhere (Scarborough end of things). It does have some advantages though:
1) You get a little license so you can return without having to sign any waivers or any o' that shit
2) Two courses -- "speedway" (oval, bleh) and regular twisty track
3) Indoor so it's open year round no matter how crappy the weather

I haven't been there for a while, but it was good fun the last time I went. I scored one of the fastest lap times there as well :mrgreen:.

Depends how far you want to go. Indoor Indy in Hamilton is good. $1/lap, lap takes about 25 seconds if ur quick (im usually in 25 sec. range, same with employees). Theres also another indoor track. Not sure which highway its off, maybe QEW? but its called Mini Indy. never been there personally.

umm not that far...i really dont have any transportation other than public transportation....closer to downtown would be best

The sentinel park has a great track. It costs 4$ a lap but each lap takes about 4minutes. The carts are ok. I forgot were the place was though. I dont remeber how I got there. I got drunk and me with my friends went to that park for Canada day or something like that. All I rember is that the track was awesome, and my friend found 40$ in one cart, which we blew on racing.

the track itself is ok, but the carts sucks,, is 2 slow,, u dun need to press break in the track...

The Mini Indy is in Toronto, off the 401 near the 427. We went by it on the way home today.

mini indy is the BIGGEST RIP OFF EVERRR
6 laps for like 20 dollars or 25 dollars

the cart was like shit also,, so slow, dun need to break going into any corner..
