No argument - the Veyron defenders will never ever drive one, let alone get a chance to own one.. wheres 1000hp Corvettes are within reach of anyone with a $70,000 spare to buy a used LPE TT or such ;)

I wonder what the performance stats are of this 1000RWHP vette.. I'm thinking it wont have enough traction to put down all that power..

Sure.. no traction... :roll: SHould be as good as any other 1000hp rwd car - whether European, Japanese or American :)

Which is why 1000hp street Vettes and Vipers are running 9s 1/4 miles at 160mph+.. ;)

Thats 0-260kmh in 9s.. ;) remember the Veyron does 0-300 in 16s... leaving the car 7 s to gather 40 more kmh - right?

Or do I have my Veyron numbers all wrong??

I don't like the veyron and some of the high power nissan skylines are way faster than the veyron.
And i like the newer corvettes lingenfelter is the best corvette tuner out there.
Veyron is just a stupid car and to damm heavy to make it any good at driving.
Give me the vette any day.

$187.000 , '05 C6 with 4000 miles on the clock.
$126.000 , '98 C5 Lingenfelter TT with 20000 miles on the clock

Sadly John passed away 2 years ago - so it will be a show of force from the other side - his spirit is still very much around in the cars that carry his name.

I won't compare it with the Veyron :argue: :P - but this Vette is really impressive! :shock:

Well - it faster than the Veyron - so no comparison.. ;)

And if ionly you knew how many Vettes and Vipers there are running around here ;)

There are 3 RSI 1000hp Vipers I know of... at least 2 Hennessey 900hp jobs - 4 TT LPE Vettes and a couple of other Viper and Vette tuner 1000hp cars in Texas that I know of.

Then there are all the 700hp single and TT mild Vette street cars... at least 20 600hp NA Street Vettes I can think of... and about 10 really well know 800hp+ Supras (just to show we go Japanese as well ;))

Plus all the similar cars that never make it to the events or online videos etc because the owners are private types of people.

Imagine how many are on the street all across the USA ;)

Silly Bugatti/VW thought they were going where no one had gone before... :P

Leave high horsepower work to the tuners not something like vw or bugatti or a other big fish.
1000 hp factory cars are not cool.
And i think the engines will blow up.
Wo wants pay so much money for a bugatti/vw shitbox??

When you look at a car it does different things for different people. When i look at the veyron i dont immediately feel like a kid, and i dont initially like the looks of it, its not love at first sight. ill take a c3 vette like a 68 l88 over the veyron anyday. Yes i know they are bout the same price but with the 200k i save on the l88 i could buy a few more toys that i like. :mrgreen:
