it's not modded??? well then that's one ugly ass front fender flare!! LOL :o
it was the basis for a fairly popular race car during its run=very highly 'styled' angles; and not unlike other cars of the era/location

I don't know about the X1/9s that were brought to the States, but from a European point of view that X1/9 is far from standard! Horrible bodykit and wheels IMO. I hope they weren't sold like that on your side of the pond... :?

don't worry stradale...they weren't sold like that here in the US ;)

Which is a pity - because the X1\9 in all stock forms for the entire world was a dog slow pathetic unreliable hunk of crap... and if it wasn't for the aftermarket and racing series providing some decent substitutes and upgrades it would have died a deserved death a lot earlier.

In stock form, you had to be a unique sucker for punishment to volunteer to own one of them ;)

I cringe to think of the couple of mates that bought those after highschool and were saddled with a car that sucked.. ;) plain and simple. :P

The ones who persevered upgraded the running gear and engine and eventually ended up wth a half-decent car.

:)

Spend anytime around some X1\9 fanatics you learn to recognise the car from modded source as the blokes in the know seldom leave the cars stock - they suck that badly :P ;) hehe

lol, i was duped... but then again; the guy who bought it was a young guy who was told that the car was stock (prolly so he would pay more for it)
