Well, we are in the middle fo the first snow storm of the year. It's badass, I love snow. So much that a few friends and I went snowboarding. The snow was slow, since no one bothered waxing thier boards. I was on my old board, the one I designated to take a beating.
We only went to a few hills around town, not a resort or anything. We even dragged the big slider around. I say big because it's about 3 feet high and about 20 feet long. Lots and lots of fun!
Right now we have about 5 or 6 inches of snow and it's not supposed to stop untill tuesday! A few places north of me got almost a foot! So much they have already closed some roads and schools.
I love winter!

Here in South Africa, Durban.. when its winter its 21-25 degrees centigrade on average- summer temps in most other places.. no snow here, cept the type u can snort :wink:

Nothin can be better than the snowy days.. I love winter... And cant wait to go for a winter holiday..

LOL, where do you go in holiday? And don't worry, I live at around 600 meters over the sea level. In the mountains it will be way better :D

I've been getting it all of my life too. If you took up skiing or snowboarding, you would understand. I dont' like it when it gets super cold though, we'll have days that'll be -60 F. Thats not any fun!

I remember my first try in snowboarding last year. I was falling down again and again the whole morning. When I got the hang of it in the afternoon it was fun though. Vancouver is gonna have quite a bit of snow this year, so I might go up to teh mountains for another ski/snowboard trip after exams.
Winter is fun if there isn't any major snowstorm that disrupts my daily life. To me a white Christmas is more enjoyable than one without snow, for reasons I couldn't explain. It just feels better I guess.

SDK2003 if your are talking to me, then sorry I don't have any photos. Didn't think about bringing a camera haha maybe because me and my friends thought we weren't gonna look very cool with our kness on the ground. I'll take some pics if I go this year.

I have some that are really old, back when I first started. That was when I was in 7th grade, about 8 years ago!
I'll probably get some this year, maybe some short videos too. It'll be awhile though.
It's not snowing right now, and it is a bit warm. Some of the snow has melted and it's supposed to be almost 40 F this weekend. The season won't be in full swing for another month or so. Once I get some pictures I'll post them for everyone to see.
