it looks shite.. they could at least have bought some decent monitors with narrow borders and a proper frame to place them on so they align properly and dont have 5" gaps between them...

and really.. unless you're running air traffic control at an international airport who the fuck needs 8 monitors

/me waits for Jabba to do it properly because he can

I dont think they cared what it looked like, they just wanted to do it.

Its a test rig I dont think they really care about 5" gaps :p

Imagine that setup with 8-10 Dell 2405's(24' Widescreen)!!!! that would be insane, on that note im a week away from getting my 2405

I tried 5 monitors the other day by adding a fx 5200 so that I could at least do some basic 3d testing on my primary monitor.

but I am quite happy with just four for everyday use.

Jabba, just wondering... how much is your resolution in total? i haven't find any data in your "comp topic" ... Thank you!!!

yeah, I think 4 screens (like jabba has) is enough to break your neck when playing some of those flight simulators and need quickly look from one side to the other

8 degrees of freedom for popups, the ultimate challenge to professional computer users, definitely a neck and wrist breaker

It used to be a pain but its quite comfortable to use now...the big breakthough was pointing the two middle monitors slightly towards one another. Copied it from here :
