What does RAR mean when it is on the end of a file? Anyone else encounter this before?
It's a compressed archive format, like .zip. You can "unrar" with Winrar

^^what TT said, it's an extension of a program used to compress one or multiple files. It has a better compression ratio than Winzip. Very useful tool.

I have never seen this on the end of a file either....someone else the other day was asking about other files having stange things at the end also...
zip, avi, wmv, mpg...has anyone else ever seen files with those names attached ??? I think my computer must have a virus or something.. :|
