It somehow reminds me of a Saab Sonett.

It was a special issue car, but not exactly modified.....
No it's not italian (huge clue), and it's not a saab...although that was quite an "educated" guess..

Datsun

Datsun

There appears to be a front quarter window infront of the driver's window which no Datsun ever had.

The body style looks like the 70's Z cars but the frontend/headlights looks more like the 83-89 300ZX.

Not something Nissan/Datsun ever did.

it looks like Jag, maybe E type modification

A Brazilian Puma?

I knew that if the bonnet clue appeared, you would guess it...
My challenge is, u have to find out the actual model....

Mers

that's correct.....may I ask how you discovered that??

Abut 3 or 4 cars were made, ever, they were made for a promotion by the most famous brazilian car mag, 4 rodas...that's where the 4R comes from.;...

The Puma was a popular car in South Africa - well popular as in a number of misguided folks believed the VW Beetle powered cars were cool ;) :P

So it was just a matter of matching the odd covered lights to a Puma model I had not seen or read about for years and years ;)

Google is your friend.. hehe
