NEC says its new folding mobile phone is the world's thinnest. The phone is about 0.46 inch thick when folded--slimmer than an AA battery, according to the Japanese electronics conglomerate. The handset features a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, a 1.9-inch color display and music player functionality.

Damn, now thats a bloody phone. Looks great, like a phone should, not like so Toys R Us kiddie phone.

umm NEC making phones now?? .

some years ago they did more phones. I remember that my dad's first cellphone was a NEC... and a huge one :lol:

wow, i really dont like either this phone or the razor, i think they are too bulky. Yea they are thin as hell, but they are also really wide.

Plus, the buttons look like they came from the early 90s. Maybe its retro! Lets ask all the American car designers what they think. YAY RETRO! :roll:

hahaha, yeah, i remeber that saving contacts was a bitch, the battery's endurance was like 3 hrs... ohhh those were the days

I like the idea of thinner phones, but fuck, let's dump the useless camera and let's see how thin it could really be if it was just able to send calls and messages :twisted:

haha , well TT dont think itll become thinner because of the camera , its very very very small .

Plus ... thinner than the V3 is way difficult , i have one and grabbing it open is difficult due to its thinnest , its way a cool phone , i love it .
