I have ridden in 3 or 4 of these cars. I also have the original take off wheels from a one on my track car(apparently they take off the 10 spoke ss wheels when they role in at 30 miles). One last thing to note, these cars come with a warrenty and were painted a color of your request.

Thats an amazing car. Too bad so few were built. These things will probably be the equivalent to Yenko, Baldwin Motion, or COPO Camaros from the 60s in 30 years. They are awesome!

Looks vary from person to person... but the look your gunna get mostly is of the rear deck, so I hope thats the best view for you :D. The Phase III is no joke, and for the price Its one hell of a car and still holds a very cool bang for the buck title. Not many cars out there have 600hp at the tap of a pedal and can tear up tires like Michael Jackson can tear up a 12 year old boy and can do it for such a price. Its a great example of fantastic performance from an American car. Only drawback would be the interior. If I get a 95k car, the inside better not rattle, squeek, shimmy, or shake. I hope GM learned this and they think about it big time for 07 when the Camaro rises from the ashes to stomp a mud whole in a few Mustangs.

Id rather have that engine in a Trans AM. Camaros look like Catfish to me. T/As look like Demons from hell whove come on earth to destroy, and drink the blood of the innocent.

With 600 hp and 575 ft-lbs with close to if not higher than stock camaro weight, even with the rear end and slicks I dont see how this car can run 10.5's, I mean it is obviously a very very fast car but i think 11.5 is more realistic. But i really dont know any think about this car that i didnt just read.

I've seen one run those times. What you must take into account is both how high the torque number is and how the suspension is setup with respect to traction. A supercar usually isn't setup for drag runs. Thus a car like the enzo doesn't run as fast in the quarter as it could.

I think its very possible. I have a vid of a ZL1 test car from GM running 9.45 in a 572 big block pushing over 720hp I belive. And the car looks very stock and is not a striped out, class and plastic car. It has the original sheet metal and real glass. If the car can hook, its very easy to run a 600hp car into the 10's. Maybe you need to feel what its like to be in a car with torque?

gotta be the best camaro to ever come out of the factory. how did it ride on the street?
these must be a blast to drive. very sweet, but it would make more sense to me to give these sort of goodies to a corvette.
the hockey-stick paint job is interesting. that engine must sound absolutely sweet....

how did it ride on the street?

Not to bad. It is obviously stiffer then stock and had more of a tendancy to bottom out on low spots. Beyond that the engine is loud, but not deafening unless they start reving. They actually made a special exhaust for the car that you can buy from them.

amazing car... i knew of the ZL-1 corvette posting a time of 11 flat... but in a comero!!! i think im in love. im glad to hear the zo6 trans is in it, being that is likely the best 6-speed thats mass produced in america. (ford gt is recardo built in the UK)

sorry for the ms. spelling, im a fish outta water... people seem to make all sorts of shorthand here, so why harp on my spelling, it gets the point accross.
yes, the GT is made in Dearborn, the Brakes are made in Italy, the Trans is made in the UK by Recardo... and a few other parts are shipped in from elsewhere. but in all honesty, being that im in a state where the Auto industry dominates, there are an awful lot of 3rd party manufactures that make a great many parts for various cars. i cant think of any car that uses all "in house" parts except Ferrari, and .... hmm.... nope thats it as far as i know

so your saying those Brembo's on the Ferrari's are made in house?

well i can't post the ones from my comp but i found some on the net, the first one is a stage 3. man these cars are like the greatest thing ever, lol
also about the statement of them running 10.5. i have a video of on running that time, but it isn't a production zl1. if this is what you are refering to then you should know that it was built by jonn moss when chevy built a car to race against a car built by ford, some really big block mustang boss. the 2000 zl1 concept as it was called came with a 572 cu.in. aluminum block with je pistons and the whole 9 yards
if i could only own one camaro, that zl1 would be it, but moss loves it dearly and will probably never let it go, lol. and yes that was not a typo, 572 cubes.
572 cu.in. (8.4L)
COMPRESSION RATIO: 13.8:1
PEAK TORQUE: 683 @ 5200
PEAK POWER: 770 @ 6900 (through complete exhaust system
the last 3 pics posted are of this supercar

I miss the camaro, i think it was a big mistake, to kill it, they should mass produce this ZL1 or the 2000 302 concept, either would have saved it i think, man i hope they bring it back.

If I remember the 572 zl1 concept car actually was sub 10 (I never saw the 572 zl1 concept). I've seen a stock zl1 run. In fact I have seen about 10 of them at the strip. I've also seen an idiot run a 14 in one(at the national camaro gathering 2003 in bowling green)
In fact your pictures from the web. I recognize a few of those events and places. I was at a few of them.

I road in the prototype with Scott Settlemeir driving(the camaro brand manager). I also got a chance to drive on of the other cars. I know what they are capable of.
