Got a linksys one at the moment and to put it blunt, its complete cack, always cutting out which i've heard is due to lack of processor cooling.

Anyone want to recommend be a decent, reliable wireless ADSL router for about £60-£70.

Was thinking of the US robotics 9106?

Are the newer linksys units any better?

I had an old linksys one and it was fine, only thing that cocked it up was loads of bitorrent connections, limiting this in software to about 20 (no reduction in speed) solved it. Though mine was a cable (ntl) router. At home for ADSL we have a belkin one, seems fine never had anything go wrong, just very occasionally a quick switch off an on to get it back up and running.

our one for home; http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=5422138599&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=52384

only thing is it might be worth looking in to ADSL2 routers, if you believe what people say we aren't far from it. I would think they are compatable with normal ADSL to but i'm not 100%. Certainly you would hope speeds will go up given NTL are offering 10mbit soon (this year to existing 3mbit customers)

From reviews I've seen... lynksys is always best. Thats what I got and love it.

Got a couple of Linksys WRT54G & a BEFSR41 and they're good. Might need a firmware upgrade to right things.
