id go for the 8800, i love nokia, the best phones out there IMO, very user friendly, and this phone is extremely cool

I do like the Razr, but its the phone everyone wants, and everyone is buying...

by saying you'll pay 1100 for the new 8800 I'm guessing you live in the US
the razr v3 has been in the market for... how much time?a year or more? You'll spend some money in an "old" cellphone and in a couple of months you'll be sorry for it if you worry about new and trendy devices.
the new nokia 8800 is great, but 1100 usd is insane. IMO you could go better with normal cellphone. If you like your phone packed with features, go for the nokia N-series (n.90, n.91)

I bought one some time ago, and beside the fact they wanted to put a shitty camera in it, I think it is a very nice phone. I love mobile phones which are very slim like it is.

I got a black razr through best buy for $100 USD with a 2-year contract with cingular.. you can also get it online for free with rebates..

http://www.foncentral.com/specialoffer.asp?referringdomain=fclinkshare&oflag=specialoffer&zipcode=02115&refcode1=&refcode2=&eid=9eASk0x48lo-lOyrelCIXr6d2jfnBtGEQQ&agent=&carrierid=62&phoneid=17119

I love the phone, its slim enough to keep in your pocket with out noticing.. but what's really neat is that it has a USB port connection which you can easily reprogram the phone.

I would not buy the RAZR is already old and everybody and their dogs has one .

1100 for a 8800 is stupid .

If you like metallic phones wait for the RAZR2 , which features external TFT 64k Colour screen , Transflash memory option up to 512 , and 1.3mp camera , coming somewhere this year and the V3G which is the RAZR with 3g UMTS.

As for a review on the SLVR go to www.mobile-review.com

Maybe you would like to see the PEBL V6 , is lovely .

I don't konw what that price converts to US. But here it is free w/ activation of a new contract. If not then it should be around 200 to 300 depending on condition.

I currently have the Silver one right now and could not be happier with it. I love the wearability of this phone. Really just slip it in your pocket and go.

Only down point I do not like is the battery life. I only get about 2 days on it. So it is pretty crappy.

Paying so much for a cell phone is just a waste IMO. I recently had to but a new one as my old one was 5 years old and not working correctly.

I bought the Motorola E815 and for what it is, it's a great phone. It's a little bulky, but it has everything I would ever need and I got ot for less than $100 (after rebate). It's all bluetooth compatable (I'm in the car a lot) and has a 1.3mp camra with 4x zoom. For the casusl user, its great, and won't break the bank.

I have the V3 RAZR, and I will get the 8801 (US version of the 8800). Its going to cost like 700, but Ill wait for a while since I just got the RAZR. Go to WWW.GSMARENA.COM and check out the new RAZR comming up soon (called V3x).

I like the RAZR, the only thing I hate about the phone is that when I get a 2nd incoming call (while im talking with someone), there is no way to hangup the first guy to get the 2nd without having to put the 1st guy on hold.

I had the 8890, and I could just press the hang button to hang current one and answer next (hang button on the RAZR hangs the 2nd incoming call).

www.motomodders.com will teach you A LOT of things (such as enabling Video Recording on the V3 and uploading skins/tones/mp3s etc).
