The Antonov An-225 Mriya is a Russian freight-carrying airplane weight-heavy. It was developed to carry enormous and heavy loads that never could be carried by other conventional load airplanes, including the greaters Jumbos and Boings (for example: the Russian space bus). It is the biggest load airplane of the world and alone 2 of them exist. It even settles in earthen floor (with or without rain) and in the snow (including remote and desert-like regions of frozen Siberia). The assigned pilot to effect its inaugural flight looked at for that giant, coçou the head and said: "This cannot fly! A chunk of these does not have as to leave the soil...".

It sees the specifications of this colossus of airs:

Type of aircraft: Freighter of international transports
Propulsion: 6 turbines ZMKB Progress Lotarev D-18T (with 229.50 propulsion km each; e you thought that its car had a strong torque...)
Maximum weight of allowed load to obtain to take off: 600 tons (it gives pra to bring a bit of muamba of U.S.A....)
Maximum weight of useful load (internal or external): 250 - 275 Tons (it found that 600 tons were very...)
Spread of wing: 88,4 meters
Length: 84 meters
Speed: 800 km/h
Height: 18,1 meters (excluding the landing gear)
Load dimensions: 35.97m of length; 6.4m of width; 4.39m of height (wants to carry a Boing 727 without the wings? It fits in it)
Autonomy of flight with maximum load: 4,500 km
Autonomy of flight with "tank" of full fuel: 15,400 km
Crew: 7 people () - even so she can more than carry 1500 people in its compartment from load...

It is this. No matter how hard the aerodynamics and the physics of the propulsion the spurt explains, I still continue finding fantastic as that these monsters of can obtain to leave the passarinhos soil and to glide fact. I am imagining what! would feel Dumond Saints when testifying the flight of a Antonov...

Get your facts straight. Antonv Design Bureau is a Ukrainian, and Mr. Antonov himself was born a Ukrainian.

Russians arent building the new one, Ukrainians are building it in Kyiv.

Next time do your homework it's very disrespectful to discredit a whole nation like that.
