Sure, if my requirement for a laptop is big, bulky, heavy and with things sticking ouit. Ppl who buy this laptop is definitely a poser :x
P.S. I guss i can assume the battery life isn't that great right away.
This is not BS... it is a ruggedised Laptop. This laptop is far better at "matching" the rugged image of the Hummer than the Ferrari laptop matches the poser image of Ferraris..
However, just like the F-car laptop it's not as ruggedised as the ones that cab be shot, bashed, water-logged and dropped and still power up - so I guess it is for posers after all ;)

why would ANYONE buy that terd?
The same reason field engineers buy ruggedised laptops... ;) SO you can drop bash smash and submerge them with no worries abotu your data ;)
But I doubt that ones water proof hehe :P

This isnt as bad as some people oughta make it.. Although I'd buy a Panasonic Toughbook (the official US Army Laptops also seen in tombraider / sahara etc). Those are amazingly rugged. I've seen pictures of bullet stuck in it during the recent Iraq War. Its got a Magnesium Alloy Body and it is lighter than most Laptops I've seen.. Looks cool too (nothing fancy like the hummer though :) )..

but when you're willing to pay $4548.00 for a hummer laptopl + GPS +Touchscreen... a toughbook starts to sound VERY nice and Al should've have thought of buying one
