Now the radio allows him to inout the code but wont accept it just goes back to the first number!!?? any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

No idea.. I jusst know my mom had LOT of problems with her new Grand Espace... if the car is the new Scenic, the better way is to take it back to the dealership and let them deal with the problem (under warranty possibly)

Thanks for the resonse guys.. doent sound too promasing does it..
which is a pain in the arse.. its really strange though as it seems to allow you to enter the code surley there must be a way of resetting it..

TT did your mom get anything out the garage like what they did to fix? or what they thought the problem was.. just the scenic isnt in warrenty no more..

Thanks again for feed back though guys..

My mom? LOL, after three pretty bad problems they just took back the car and ordered a new one... the first one had to be trashed I think

hope this method works...
My car battery went flat over the weekend and my car stereo is now asking for my security code. I've found my code in service book but I dont know how to enter it. Can anybody fill me in on how to do this?

Thus, you have a code in the vehicle registration stand e.g. 2346.
Then must you for the number 2 the key 1 twice press,
for the number 3 the key 2 three times press,
for the number 4 the key 3 four times press and for the number 6 the key 4 six times press.
And you activate the code with the key 6.
