Press release
Today the Ferrari Challenge Stradale was awarded "Performance Car of the Year 2003" by the UK’s authoritative weekly magazine AUTOCAR. The ceremony was held at the Marquee in Battersea Park, the traditional location to the annual "Autocar Awards" prize-giving ceremony organised by the oldest automotive magazine in the World. For the 2003 edition, a panel of judges which included the AUTOCAR test team, elected the Challenge Stradale as a winner over Porsche GT3, BMW M3 CSL, Mercedes SL55 and Pagani Zonda C12S.
In AUTOCAR’s words the Challenge Stradale is "the best Ferrari since the F40 and, right now, the most exciting car on the planet". Ferrari’s Roberto Fedeli, Platform Manager, Ferrari S.p.A received the Award from AUTOCAR’s columnist Chris Harris and said: "It’s a great pleasure to see that the hard work of so many people at Ferrari is acknowledged by both customers and the motoring press."
This latest award continues Ferrari’s success. Last year Ferrari’s President and CEO Luca di Montezemolo received "Man of the Year" Award, while the Enzo Ferrari was awarded "Dream Car of the Year".
