As far as i can tell DAP doesn't like downloading over SSL connections, the only one i can find is reget http://reget.com/ But i'm not to keen on paying for one TBH. Does anyone know of a DL manager that supports this but is still freeware? If it comes down to it i'll pay for it, i'm not that cheap :P

Did you try the Download Accelerator Manager Free Edition? It claims to support https so I suppose it works with SSL connections.

**EDIT** it works :-) i'm getting lame speeds but i'm sure that just needs some tweaking :D
