It does look much better than the photoshopped ones. Too bad you can barely see the headlights in the pics.

Exactly.....Yes i think it looks great HOWEVER this is what the C5 should have been..really they just reshaped the panels(COPY Ferrari some more please chevy :fist:) and supposedly it will have more power  (I'll believe it when i see it)

wow, i really think that one looks absolutely beautiful!! they still better be giving that thing a lot more power...at least 400 for the regular and 500+ for the Z06 (lol, did i pull those numbers outta my ass or am i remembering them from somewhere   )

Looks just like an NSX from the side....
Whats under the skin is going to be the big news - much like the C5 - chassis stiffness and some neat technology on the cheap.
This car may shock a few people in the performance department...
Too bad the car is made by GM. Poor after sales service, and a car that is a lot weaker than it should be.
Let's see if the new engines burn oil, if the new transmission loses shift forks, if the new differential leaks and wares out, if the new column lock locks while you are driving, if the new fuel gauge can operate without failing because of high sulphur fuels etc etc etc. ;)
I love my Z06, and 'bang for the buck' it cannot be touched - and even its raw performance outclasses many contenders - but in the end it is just a high horse power cavalier... nothing more... :P LOL
(I still wouldn't give the fibreglass bucket of bolts up for anything though... because when she comes back from the dealer tomorrow with a new differential (burned up after 35,000 miles) - I know I will be able to kick any car's arse that I come across in my daily driving... LOL)

:D Great post CarreraGtracer. GM did not screw it up. The new C6 looks fantastic. They really improved the looks. Like the rear end treatment in the exhaust area. And the indent, less boxy. Love the way they flared the front fenders to balance front and rear look of the car. The C5 looked too slim in the nose imo (ok nitpic). Looks like they might have improved rearward vision which was needed. Too bad they increased the wheel base. Can’t see how that will help maneuverability hope that wasn’t just a compromise to make a bigger Cadillac. Think wheel base should be closer to 100 inches for more lively feel. Will wait for driving impressions. Really hope to see a good track stick thrashing. Especially good if Tiff Needell would treat it like he does the bimmers. I JUST CANT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT LOOKS! Hope they treated the interior to make you feel like your in something special (ie. Expensive ‘cause it is) when your driving. Also hope maybe the engine sounds a bit better at idle. Need rid of that GM V8 Oldsmobile sound where you hear the fan belt ticking.
