Hey everybody!!!

I've been absent for quite a long time now, because I've been on a VERY long vacation :D

For the past 3-4 weeks (I can't remember anymore!), I've stayed at my friends house in Baden-Baden (Germany), and in Nice.

Of course, being the IDIOT that I am, I didn't bring a camera... but let me tell you, for a guy (like me) who has only on very seldom occasions seen exotic cars, this holiday, must I admit, was stroke inducing. I have never seen so many dream cars!!!!!!! :D :D :P

While we were driving towards the French boarder from Italy, a black/tan Quattroporte with italian licence plates... that is BY FAR the best looking saloon on the planet. I must say that I never really cared about big executive cars, but this one changed my mind. It was so unbelievably graceful. Its much wider and lower than any A8, S-class, or 7-series. I fell in love with that car the second I saw it. Luckily I saw two others later on during my stay in France.

One night we decided to go to town, and so while we were parking in a hotel parkhouse, I saw my very first F430. Being the Ferrari freak/stalker that I am, I immediately jumped out of the car, and just stood in front of the F430 for 10 minutes in complete shock. It was Red/Black, daytona seats, subwoofer, standard rims, normal brakes, black calipers....

Forget the pics.... reality is the only medium through which the F430s beauty is truly shown. Its curves are like that of a beautiful woman..... GODDAMN THAT THING IS PERFECT. Any doubts about its styling (the rear, the front intakes, etc...) are simply blown away. Every element of car's styling integrates immaculately. THe interior is stunning, and its quite obvious that the car is put together with the greatest accuracy. Another thing that pictures screw up is the width and hight of the car. It seemed wider than ANY car (including the new ML we were in), while being pretty much only half my height. Unbelievable.... Honestly, this may just be my favorite car of all time.

As if that didn't already make me have a heart attack, in front of the hotel there was a bentley CGT and a DB9. I have to say that, unfortunately, the bentley really disappointed me. The front was way to high, and overall, it just didn't seem special. The only thing that gave it away was the bentley badge. However, the DB9 was a completely different story. That car is BEAUTIFUL. It doesn't have the curves of the F430, but its got to be one of the best looking cars ever. However, it was too british for my taste: its too conservative and gentlemanly. While it definelely turns heads, it requires a "mature" driver. And as for me, (considering I still have erections without the help of viagra) it just doen't suit me. At the end of the day, I can definetely say that I prefer the F430. To each his own....

Then one day we decided to go to the holy grail of expensive cars: Monaco. This is the first time I ever went to Monaco (actually the first time I was on the Cote d'Azure), so I was especially keen on visiting. Well, it started off VERY well. The SECOND we drove into Monaco, a red F355 pulled alongside us. Very beautiful car, but you can see that the car is starting to date (especially the back). Then we parked, and as we walked out of the parking house, and while we were crossing the road, I see a yellow Porsche turbo, and behind it another Bentley CGT. Nice. Then I saw a dark silver Quattroporte which, must I admit, gave me a shiver down my spine. Not mentioning the 70 meter yahts, those cars must be the most expensive pieces of matter I've ever seen...
Surprisingly I didn't see any Phantoms, SLRs, CGTs, Enzos, Maybachs, etc... hmmmm.... the one time I come to Monte-Carlo, I didn't have a chance to see them. GODDAMN!!!

Well, in return, I did have a chance to see a Black/tan, gunmetal challenge rims equipped F430 spider. Do I have to tell you that that car is boner-inspiring? I didn't think so --- look in any thesaurus and you'll see that F430 (Spider) is a synonym for "Erection". I sware!!!

Well, enough rambling from me. I definitely forgot some vital details, but what the hell, you have to understand that a supercar virgin like me is still in shock at all of this.

If there's one thing I've learned this summer, its that you need to either have a very rich spouse, inherit a shitload of money or work VERY hard in order to afford that 70 m yaht, a villa in Monte Carlo and that erection inducing F430 as your ride. And because I don't like relying on others, I think I'll rather put in the work to get there! Monte Carlo, I'll be coming back in 20 years!

I HOPE EVERYBODY HAD A GREAT VACATION (or is still in the prossess of it)!!!!!

Seems like one more JW member has been infected by the Monaco experience :D

Judging from your posy you had the time of your life spotting cars at the Côte d'Azur.

It seems like once you've been to Monaco once, nothing is the same again
