Damn, it's called Wiesmann, not Weismann, I thought a german member could not do that mistake :D

Anyway that's a nice job :good:

That’s cool but I just have all of them in a folder on my network. Along with a lot of other movies and TV. I have no interest in ever burning them to a disk....

Here's a preview of one of my crappy Top Gear covers
http://img302.imageshack.us/img302/8291/topgear8uw.jpg

The cover has all the cars reviewed that season and also the stars.

And here's some of my other DVD covers

(The last one is just a remake of the original)

have you got a high res version from that picture?
Just from the pic or the cover with texts and everything?

I got the covers in word format (texts are added in word).

Tell me something tho, did you fit whole episodes on it, or just features. And how many disks did it take?
Complete 1 hour episodes and on 1 disc. They are in avi format.

can our top gear releases be easily put into DVD format

The simplest program IMO is to use nerovision express to do it, i've used it quite alot recently and a 2hr or so dvd takes less than 1hr 30 on my laptop with pretty decent quality. Problem is with topgear that its an hour long per episode so you have to squeeze them on quite a bit for single layer media. trial and error will sort the best compromise. Personally i've got a divx dvd player and when it works its perfect for playing DL'd material

my dvd player can also play divx, mpeg etc files. so i havenīt any problems with the top gear series cause i havenīt to convert it :D

I've tried to use Nero and it doesn't work, it records the movie but then the movie doesn't record or the program tells me the recording had an error when its like finally completing the recording. It pisses me off lol I went through like 5 DVD's trying to figure it out and I've e-mailed them and their no help. :(

weird, i always choose write to a HD folder first, then when prompted save the log file, then click burn this project again, never have any probs

Save HD file? never done that, maybe I should give it a try? :? how many videos u fit in 1 DVD I presume 1 episode?

depends on the quality of the source is. The maximum i like to do is maybe 2hrs per dvd (single layer), a little more if its animation as that requires less bitrate IMO. Just trial and error till you get it how you like, just preview the files before burning.
