stick shift!!!! omg, what was mercedes thinking :roll::lol:

haha just kidding. I actually think it's awesome that they're at least testing out stick shift, cause they haven't had a car that they offered with stick shift (at least in NA) since maybe the early 90s, except for one model year of the SLK (1999?).

lookin at the pics altezza posted, it looks just like I thought it would...like a mini new CLK. and what surprises me, is that the front end looks like the SLR, and the rear 1/3 or so even looks like the RX8 :shock: I don't think it looks ugly, but then again it's not really the most beautiful thing out there...

well at least bmw dont have to feel so bad about the Z4 now that merc have hit the SLK with ugly stick :roll: .. roll on new boxster :mrgreen:

why do u say stick shift.....that looks an aweful lot like an auto shift if u ask me

great find. I actually like it, but it's not where going to be anywhere close to a boxter or a z4 in performance. but I really do like it's looks. shame that mercedes can't make good manuals...

I really love it and it is a car I might consider buying once I start working in 2 years. hey maybe in 2 years ill be posting pics and vids of it, i'd def do that.

this car looks great, much more aggressive and manly and not as cute and femine as the older one. def gonna give the z4 some competition especially if a 300hp+ 5.5 L amg version is realeased as rumored to be. that one be the one i would get.

its also good because it gives me what I love about the SL but on a scaled down level, the SL is still far better but this is a reasonable alternative.

Hmm to me the back looks too short and the front looks too long. Wonder how much luggage space is in there. Anyway great find. These are the clearest pictures I've seen of the new SLK.

Well for all the 04 models, there's some manual gear box in NA. Look around and you'll see.

i think it was always an option on the slk320 from '99 onwards....funny thing is that i was talking to a sales rep about the manual box, and he said that its not even offered in the slk32 because it isnt 'sporty enough' :roll: WTF is it for then!?
