I was in Hong Kong this past weekend and it was great...i saw some amazing cars. But on the train back to kunming some little bastard (can i say that here) stole my day pack with my camera in it. Not only did i loose the camera and all the pics both car and other...but i also lost my bank card, bank book 500yuan...about 80 USD and some clothes. Thankfully my passport was in my pocket...that would have been a huge pain. I'm so pissed....but it was a good trip none the less.

If you guys are in Hong Kong the best places to hunt cars are on Hong Kong Island near the Lambo/Ferrari dealership; that's near the Financial district on the main road, i can't remember. The other place is over by the Aston Dealership in an area called Happy Valley, it's behind the race track and kind of a long walk, but by far the best place for hunting.

Anyway next time i'll have pics before i post in the "what you saw today section" sorry about that

Sad to hear that. If your passport would get stolen then you would really be in trouble...

Thx anyway for putting in the effort and taking pics! 8)

What cars did you see?

wow quick response

the only super exotic i saw was a Carrera GT (black!) getting some work done in Happy Valley. Right next to it was an F430 Spider getting a new exhaust system. Ton's of 360's,2 575's, a 612 (my first) a ton of other stuff as well...bentley's rollers, high end merks a BMW's but so many it's hard to list. The Aston Dealer had 2 DB9's a vanquish S and a DB7 (oddly all black)...oh yeah 3 gallardo's 2 at the dealer (black and orange) and a silver on the road. the lambo dealer was really nice and let me take pics and even let me sit in the black one (my first time in a lambo) i'm so pissed i lost the camera...i had pics of all of this.

Sorry to hear about that, lorbmw. :( Maybe I am naive but I always thought the penalties of crime in China are so harsh that it keeps the crime rate really low. IIRC, they get years and years of hard labour if convicted of a crime over there.

Hopefully the police will catch up with the thief and you will get some justice served.

Did you see the guy steal it?

-No police involved we were stopped at some place in the middle of no where and the kid grapped it as he walked by. I heard him take it, and saw him running away from the train. The penalties in china are harsh...but only if you get caught and can't bribe anyone. Anyway the police here are more miami vice than NYPD...i'll get few pics when i get a new camera.

Sad to hear that dude... :(

BTW, last sunday I was in Hong Kong... unfortunately I only had one day there :( ... so I only had time to visit Kowloon... the Ladies Market... where I saw many japanese ricers... and a couple of NSX  and a white Skyline! And at night I had a walk aroung the Avenue of Stars (also in Kowloon... where I spotted a Maranello in a hotel next to mine (the Intercontinental Grand Standard)... I just went to the HK Island to visit to the Victoria Peak... just a couple of Bentleys at least! With one more day, I'm sure I would have had enough time to visit all those dealers... may be next time! :P
-Yeah they seem to love their japanese rice there. I saw white skyline as well, it had a super loud exhaust. the view from the top of victoria peak is amazing...that skyline (of the city) is something.
