View Full Version : No Mercy III has touched down...
For those who know the history the No Mercy family lineage here is the 3rd installment.
First there was No Mercy - one of the first and the most insane tuned 427ci Z06's on the planet...

Then No Mercy II - Porsche Turbo Cabrio Evo GT 800

Now arrives No Mercy III - a 1090rwhp Viper.

Bill's own words:
Here are a few pics I took right after if got back from MD.
The dyno numbers are:
91 Octane ... 902rwhp and 957rwtq
100 Octane ... 1007rwhp and 1142rwtq
116 Octane ... 1093rwhp amd 1200rwtq
(we were unable to register a true hp number on the 116 program as the car could not stay hooked up on the dyno. It just broke loose and spun. The 1093rwhp number was at about 5000rpm and was the highest number attained before wheel spin. We did, however, manage to peg the dyno with the rwtq at 1200.)

I think I read on some Viper forums one time of a guy with a 1200hp twin-turbo job on his. He said it was so undrivable that he had to cut it down to 900hp (or else wheelspin at ANY speed).
Has the guy who owns this said how scary it is to drive?
I think having graduated from No Mercy to No Mercy II and now taking delivery of No Mercy III he has "stepped up" to the power... ;)
We are all waiting to see what he does with his 05 Gallardo.

I am well aware of the history that is the No Mercy vehicles. They are always quite the cars to behold. I would love to own any one of those vehicles.

I am pretty sure this guy lives right down the road from me in Lone Tree, Colorado. I might have seen this car in stock form before he got it worked on... I saw it driving out of the neighborhood he lives in. (Black RT/10)
I also saw him driving his porsche... RC do you know if it was a Yellow 911 (prob 2003) with black rims?
I hope he puts out some videos of this thing, but i don't think he has of No Mercy's 1 & 2, so I'm not crossing my fingers!
EDIT: the picture of the Porsche didn't load the first time, so I definitely saw that car driving, it sounded pretty wicked.
He has a C6 Z06 on order - it is earmarked for No Mercy IV treatment

Damb that thing is gonna be an absolute monster... You think he'll put some kind of F/I on it RC?
The new Z06 should be the lightest car in Stock form he's had so far (???) but will definitely have the best engine (IMO).
Can't wait to see what he does to it to get the crazy numbers he usually does... Do you know where he takes them to get it done?
Bill has used a number of tuners. Pretty much he will use the best of the best for the car he is having worked on - he uhm, how can one say, does not need to cut corners. :)

No "cut corners" as in skimp on the cost, as in stick to a budget. :)
His discretionary spending toy fund is as large as some folks life time earnings. ;)
This is his current lineup:
05 Lamborghini Gallardo
04 Porsche 996 TT Cab (EVO GT 800)
04 Viper (Heffner 522cid TT )
04 Cadillac Escalade
04 Chevy Avalanche

Does he do any mods other than engine? Presumably it would be fairly undriveable to have a standard viper with >1000hp. Also any idea of what speed the top blows off? :D

This gent is far from a a "ricer" - and spends what ever is required to make the cars fully functional and able to handle the new power.
The tuner uses their disctetion and expertise to complete the cars as required.
oh........my..............fucking................. god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would be absolut;y terrifyed to drive this in the wet though

But on yours you could literally make it a "blow off"
Passenger: "Paul? What was that noise and why is there a funny looking hole in hor hood?"
Paul: "The explanation as to why my boost gauge now reads zero....."

"Paul: "The explanation as to why my boost gauge now reads zero.....""
are you hinting to my motor not handling my boost?
cause if you are that will never happen

Well if you look closely you can see that there is an aftermarket suspension (per the remote reservoirs under the hood) and you can see the new wheels/brakes/tires...
BTW does the viper come with no return fuel rails or are those aftermarket?
I know Ford uses them but I wasn't sure if Dodge did on the viper or not.

I believe they come stock. Dodge had to get the thing past the HC test somehow
