I have only short story with poor english.. Now days I was thinking many times...why I did this.. but.. atleast I learn something (10 years ago)
These first pictures were taken when I had Mazda 2.3l MA engine (orginal 2.0) in that same 626 body.. It was with turbo also, but it went broken too many times. If you are focused you notice that I made multi throttlebody (for haltech engine control unit)from old weber carbuerretor shell for this older MA engine version and if you look more you notice that I have both sides these fuel jets when I was youg I belive that I can get few horsepower from coriolis- (pseudo) force. Those jets where positioned so that these are shooting fuel same time like "screw" thats why I cant use one full leght fuel rail up and down and I had to put fuelrail to 4 parts. I get around 300hp from this engine (Basic 2.0L engine was 90hp)and I waste 20-30t€ during that "scool perioid" (best effiency this 300hp I get with 1.3-1.4bar boost usually when I go over 1.8bar MA engine block goes broken after few minutes. I taste 3 bar once and I broke turbo and this last most expensive 2.3L MA block in 15 seconds). I had 4.5kg aluminium flywheel in that MA engine orginal is guite heavy around 17kg. When I was braking MA engines enough I made fittingplate for Mazda 4wd 1.8 GTR turbo engine. I have H profile connecting rods in the GTR block, orginal pistons fully blowed and tuned header with grane racing cams. Adjustable cam gears and many other things what you can see from these pictures.
This body is 1982 old 626 HT (lightened to 750-800kg).. I move engine room firewall 15 cm to back (also engine and gearbox) so that I get whole engine behind the rear wheels. Exthaus pipe is litlebit over 4in pipe I had to made it my self because I want that with stainless steel and with thin 0.6mm wall (bacause of weight and I want faster heat loss from pipe) I have glassfiber doors and in body I replace glases with polycarbonate blastics (but not wind glass). Engine water radiator is behind of the driver seat and same cooling air what is cooling that is also cooling exthaust pipe tunnel. Back of this car I made room for diffusor tunel thats why I take of spare tire place.. I take copies from ferrari 360 front diffuser (because I am poor boy) I use that for havig downforce in mazda. I have also one large carbon fiber rear wing (2 plates where one is adjustable). Front and rear door I made using kevlar (yellow black 90 decress fiber)
