This is a game that I've had an idea for about a year now. I just finally got it on paper. What do you guys think?

Either your bandwidth was exceeded, or you took it off the site, because the site is not working.

It looks nice and all, but definately not in the same Genre as my game.

Please expand on that thought? What makes your concept diff. to each of these very thorough simulations?

Just asking... ;)

His game is more like GTA, u drive around in a city with cops etc. But the physics are realistic, and you can street race and stuff like that. rite?

personally id take a organized/legal racing: circuits, autoX, closed off road racing

over street racing. the clean good natured attitude of racing isn't there. which makes a game thats underground and illegal unapealing to me.

in LFS you can race for hours with lots of passing and side by side action by people who apologize for accidents and wrongfull scrapes. truely that is the great racing experience

boy do i love LFS :D

totally agree!! physics are just too real in this game! playing nfs after that is so boring... worth the buy for sure!

What I'm envisioning is something where people can drive around the whole damn US (and maybe add Europe at a later date if it becomes popular, and there is a reasonable way of getting street data)

I do want a small racing portion, but most of the game would be akin to that of a flight simulator, only for driving, but with customizable parts and shit.

OK, I'll bite - what cars and in what era will it take place?

I think you would best have a cross country theme - such as a Gumball Rally/Cannon Ball Run style mision - but you can drive any route you want - from sea to shining sea... ;)

You can pay me royalties for my idea after you make it big... mmmmkay?

Heh, that's the beauty of what I'm envisioning this game to be, you can do all that kind of stuff, especially if I could make it massively multiplayer.

I think I might have to ax the cops though.
