i was browsing edmunds and came across this article which covers the new 6.2L unit. it answered a few questions i had about the engine though. basically the previous 55 amg's were making too much torque lol and they wanted to be able to use the new 7speed transmission in their current models. and now this engine makes a little more sense mated with the new 7-speed. plus the engine is lighter with the absense on the blower. anyways just wanted to pass this along.
