Impossible for me to pick ONE favorite song. I'm a big fan of Bruce Springsteen and have many of his songs as "favorites". On his "Live 75-85" triple CD there is a version of "The River" including a monologue that's amazing. "41 shots" also makes it on to the list.

Some other favorite songs include.

* KLF - Last Train to Trancecentral
* Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness
* Bob Seger - Miami
* Europe - The Final Countdown
* Dave Matthews Band - Crash In to Me
* Garbage - Only Happy When it Rains
* Bach - Air on G-String

The list could go on for very long since I'm a big music buff..
Seems we both like Jimmy Eat World Dodo..

I usually have a one week favourite (or in the case of a cd a whole month probably) takes me ages to find anything new
however i like alot of sting (and the police)
but this doesnt set the mood for driving like a hoon or loon so id have to say
Agent provocateur - Red Tape .... if you have ever watched the Jackel with bruce willis (shite film but worth this one bit only) the part where he plays this cd player (with this song) to distract the cops out of the house.... then slaughter them one by one.... GREAT for the in-car stereo :lol: :twisted: :lol:
i also like a couple of songs by massive attack (angel and the Jackel theme)

currently though im ingrossed by Ministry of sound Hard NRG vol 7 (last song on disc 2)... the phsychotic "bigger, better, louder" track .... i think i have a theme going here :roll:

Absolute favorit now: Zamfir - The Lonely Shepherd (Kill bill sountrack) - I can listen it for hours and hours :P
Other than that depends on mood, sometimes death metal, cometimes classic, sometimes the Cure and sometimes... Michael Jackson :shock: :mrgreen: his old stuff obviously :lol:

Probably easiest to pick a favorite song by category since it's so tough to just choose one song, but I'll try anyhow.

Since my favorite band is Metallica, it must be one of their songs. All of them deserve #1 to me, but the very slight lead goes to Battery. It's fast, aggressive, and opens up one of their best CDs.

*after listening to Master of Puppets again today, I want to make Sanitarium tied with Battery for 1st, since it's kickass :twisted:

Ooh, toughy. it's a toss up between
Thievery Corporation - Air Batacuda &
St Germain - So Flute.

Completely depends on the mood though as mentioned :fadein:

If I had to pick one it would be: Bent - Swollen

Groove Armada - 'Fly me to the moon' or 'Suntoucher' come a close second.

Oh my! :shock: I thought I was the only person to listen to Thievery Corporation. They are the Shiznit! My fave track is Lebanese Blonde.

I am listening to St Germain 'Deep in it' right now.

It's a Sunday morning tune for sure.

It really depends on the mood, but I am very much a groove/dance music kind of person. Occasionally I'll listen to Led Zep, Pink Floyd etc.

As for dance music, Kruder and Dorfmeister or Nicholas Matar.
