Tyre help

Right, almost time to get new tyres for the M3. We are stuck on which ones to get though. We are looking for very high grip and we aren't that concerned about how long they'll last.

Any suggestions??

Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-03s, the best on the market.

Or Michelin Pilot Sports PS2s. Those are pretty good too.

OEs I believe are Continental ContiSportContact.

The Michelin's Pilot Sport PS 2 would be my choice, and from what I've read so far they seem to be among the best for what you want.

Does the car go to track often (or at all)? If so, an R rated tyre like the Pirelli P Zero Corsa System (like the ones in the Stradale) or the Toyo RA 1 wouldn't be a bad choice. They wouldn't last much, but they grip like hell...

But if you don't go to the track, it's better to stick with a regular street tyre. :) Any one of these will be a good step in performance, compared to the Continentals:

- Pilot Sport PS 2;
- Potenza S-03;
- Potenza RE 050;
- Pirelli P Zero Rosso;

We never go to the track (unfortunately) so I think normal tyres will do.

Do they make Pirelly P Zero Nero M+S in your size? Those get my vote for all-around tyres.

I have just put Gooyear Eagle F1 GSd3s on my car and am very happy with them.

We have Pirelli P Zero Rosso on the Aero which are great although they do wear pretty quick.

S03's are recommended in many circles. I've also heard that the PS2's are very good. I don't think you'd go wrong with either.
