Nice. Look through the turn man, look through the turn. With where your head is pointed you'll be driving into the ground. :D :D :D :D

is that a mini bike instead of a pocket bike?

I'd class it as a pocket bike.

A mini bike isn't much bigger, but really a bike designed specifically for kids like the PW50/XR50 kind of thing, IMO.

its just a larger pocket bike, with working headlight, turn signals and taillight

Be aware that without decent knee and elbow protection I have seen a couple guys locally jump on a pocket bike in the parking lot at the bike store... and wipeout and be laughing and crying at the saame time :)

It turns out that the human knees and elbows are not designed to be shaved by asphalt - even at 10mph ehehehe :)

But they are wicked fun. Especially if you can get a couple buddies, some traffic cones and a race going .

Thats exactly what I had in mind. There is a massive massive massive parking lot here in the neighbourhood and its always empty after 7pm, I can just imagine the things we can do.

BTW How strong are these things? Can they take abuse?

Well - as with anything, you get waht you pay for. There are some really cheap pocket bikes showing up, and my buddy got one for his kid - and him and I trashed it in about 30 minutes

The forks literally folded in half at the bottom triple clamp after one too many hits on going down the driveway curb.

But we didn't really pay attention to try not to hurt it.

Do yourself a favour and go visit a couple dealers/flea markets and get an idea of the quality and types out there.

They even have them at pepboys now.

honestly I dont remember the brand name, ill have to look on it... as far as price, I bought it for 100 bucks from a co-worker who said it didnt run right. I drained the tank, tightened a few screws here and there, mixed premium gas with premium oil, and suddenly it turned into a rocket. As for quality, I crashed it once jumping it up the side of a driveway at about 30mph, caught about 6ft of air, landed on the sideway, breaking loose the left clip on.. and eating shit in the grass of my house...haha, great fun. In the crash I also lost two engine bolts, and everthing got loose. I just had to tighten everything down, find two more bolts... and the left clipon bolts are now stripped so im just gonna tig weld them together.

It's a two stroke then?

These things are just begging for a transplanted RM/KX85 motor

120km/h at the very least, looking at the size of your rear sprocket.

Sorry, it's the RG500 in me that makes me say this mad shit

Can you guys believe they are now banned in australia? Well in victoria anyhow, don't know about the other states so yeah, don't quote me on that one  hihihi funny though.. initially the law was somewhat along the lines of you are able to legally ride a fuel powered machine upto 49cc which cannot exceed a speed limit greater than 50kmph... don't know why but now the 05's don't let us run a mukk no more... i had to get rid of mine.... before i got caught, if you get caught its a $1000AU fine :fist: cops...... c c c
