His agent has denied it so the chances are pretty high IMO :P , I'd love to see him in the premiership :D He has a £100 million release clause and i think chelsea would pay it! thats how crazy they have made the transfer market.

I'm not a chelsea fan but they were damn entertaining to watch last year many times.

Yes but whenever an agent responds and denies its makes me suspicious, having almost certainly missed out on robinho i can see them going for Ronaldinho. Just about every player Real Madrid sign the rumours are denied for months, chelsea are really the only team on a par with them spending wise IMO.

As for his contract well any club that thinks they are going to lose a player renegotiates, he has 3 years left so methinks they are getting a bit edgy about his future. ultimately it comes down to if he can be persuaded to come to England IMO.

Chelsea is becoming a team just like Real madrid which I hate. They have tons of cash and buy any player they wish. Yet Arsenal manage to do very waell in games against them without such purchased famous players. Henry on the other hand became a star whilst his stay at Arsenal.

Barcelona bought Ronaldinho from PSG when he was a very good player. Now he is a STAR! Same happened with Ronaldo when he came from PSV Eindhoven, same happened with Rivaldo when he came from Deportivo Coruña...

Sometimes is better to buy a player like Deco, which is absolutely talented... and way way cheaper than any of those ultra-super-stars that you can find at Real Madrid or Chelsea... :roll:

Yes but none the less Chelsea have also brought through young players who while they cost a fair bit wern't great names, Lampard and Cole spring to mind, cole for one while a good player when he signed,he has developed unbelievably in the last year. Lampard well he is the most underated player, Chelsea and England look like a different team without him. Still i think chelsea have gone the wrong way in some aspects not giving all of their youth players a chance, sending them out loan, that aspect i wholely agree on and its becoming more prevelant amongst the top teams. Just look at Man Utd, previously they brough through great players now to much they are relying on quick results from bought in players :roll:

The worst thing is that fame gets into the players head and somehow they don't play as good as in thiier previous clubs. Look at berackham and owen for example...once stars in their former clubs, now they bite the dust.

well, real played very well at the end of season,
i saw few games of real, and beckam played very well, working for team,
and ronaldo also, they need to replace few old stars ,Zidane and more,
BTW Chelsea got good team, they need only attackers, adriano for example,
and so much money for Ronaldinho, thats stupid, no one is that good,
we will see, but better to see play of spain or english team, then that stupid ultra defensive boring italian spagheti footbal
