SERIOUS problem with my PC!!!?

I just started up my Gateway PC and it freezes on the gateway logo screen. on the bottom of this screen it says to boot press the tab key and to another thing press the F12 key. The problem is whenever I press any key on the keyboard it does not work. Now i know my keyboard works cus whenever i start up the PC the lights lite up and i even tried a diff keyboard but same problem!!

I noticed that my dvd-rom does not want to open up but my CD-rom does! Anyway i dont care about this PC since its already 4yrs old BUT MY JW VIDEOS ARE IN THE HARD DRIVE :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Is it possible for me to transfer the stuff on my hard drive to a diff PC and how do I do it or have to buy!!

I have years of videos from JW and I would be really upset if i loose the data in the hard drive :cry:

just pull the Hard Drive and plug it into another computer

buy one of those IDE-USB2 3.5" case............put ur harddrive in and u can access all ur stuff from another computer with USB port

I got my PC to work again!!!! all I did was disconnet the screen from the bus and plugged it back...and a lil prayer :mrgreen:
