Theres a new dealersip opened up just down the road from me. They have some really tasty new metal there. I'm expecting to see gallardos and murci roadsters etc in the very near future. In fact, i know for sure that they have a V8 vantage on the way.

they also, however have a ;arge range of classic racing vehicles. Not just your average classics either. They have an ex-Jackie stewart F1 racer, a £1.5 million BRM and a £500,000 1956 Maserati, along with numerous 50's and 60's quater of a million pound cars. They also have a ex-J.Villeneuve 80's F1 racer.

Here are the pics. apologies for my dismal cameramanship, along with equally dismal camera.

Very intersting. A dealership with old f1 cars. Don't see them that often. How much did they want for the Stewart car?

that m.g.a  is one hell of a peice of machinery.

pure sex on wheels. look at those curves, the minimalistic windsheild and 4 headlamps.... top ones wider, lower ones set on the inside or the two tops ones inbetween the lower grill

if only...

yeh i like this one. The previous owner used it for rallys - not the muddy type, just going from place to place on public roads, with loads of other classics. It is a twin carb, twin cam, so it puts out roughly 150bhp opposed to the 80ish it had as standard

While you are at it ... why don't you apologize for being the shortest JW member. Dude! your pics are awesome ... no need to be bashful about them

The Mas 250F is sex on wheels particularly the rear shot. it looks like a panther haunching back on its rear legs before it pounces on its prey. The BRM annd 312-T4 are also cars to die for.

The H16 was reputed to be one of the loudest F1 cars ever - shrill bugger!

lol, thanks for that, although you have to admit, some of them are blurry as hell. I love the maser pics. i was talking to the guy there, and he said that out of all of the cars they have - the V8 vantage, the H-16 BRM, all of them......the Maserati sounds the best!

^^^ True ... I heard the 250F on a Duke Video on J M Fangio. It had a proper GP car sound. I guess the 250F is up there with the 250GTO, TR, 512S, Lotus 49 and couple others for best sounding racing cars of all time.

The H16 on the other hand is what you get when put 100,000 angry mosquitos in a jar and listen to it. Also the H16 was a racing failure with both reliability and weight issues. The V8 that followed it was much better.

With regards to the H16, the guy i spoke to said the very same thing. hugely advanced in terms of technology, but never finished a race due to mechanical problems

That Dino rocks - and the old F1 racers are brilliant! :D

Thanks for the pics, and make sure you return as soon as they get the Murci Roadster and AMV8.
