450bhp sure is enough to have fun, a very nice ride there, even a targa top too.
The engine bay looks so clean and standard, to have 450bhp and looking so standard is not bad. Very nice dude!

the sad thing is that 450hp is like nothing in a Supra atleast around here. And I think that hood is just an aftermarket thing.

My friend said that it is original targa from Toyota, but he might be wrong. Who has the facts?
450HP is not much from a Supra and that car has 650HP in reserve, but in everyday use it is in 450HP mode.
The Supra came in two body styles..The more common Targa which your friend has and the hardtop which is rare. The hardtop is the lightest and the most coveted. Sweet cars...My friend had a 10second Supra and it was the fastest car Ive ever been in. To put it in perspective... 450 hp is a weak Supra. Just basic minor bolt ons give you that kind of power and is refered to as a BPU Supra. Basic Power Upgrades. There are guys stateside that are making 900rwhp on the stock block. To get 450 hp from a Supra would cost you less than 3k and is as simple as downpipe and raised boost. There are even Supra's making 1500hp here in the states. The Supra is known as a highway killer and if you run up on one leave it alone unless you are in a tt big cube car. Very few real streetcars are in the Supra's league when it comes to top end power. Turbo'ed big cube cars like Vipers are the only cars Ive seen to mess with or beat the Supra on its home turf. Its a shame they stopped making it. It is the Japanese Porsche.
Well most supra's we get over here are originally RHD converted to LHD and most of them are hardtop. Very rarely do you find a targa.. Although I been in one and as mrmojo77 said it takes few mins to put the roof on and you need an Alen key to titen the bults.. In all the supras I been in they are very lagy even the stander onces.. They won't start to give decent boost until it reaches 3,400 rpm or in that range then you just hold on for dear life..

ok i think there is a lil misunderstanding by hood i mean bonnet (i think) ive seen a couple vids of supras from europe and they mostly seem to have that hood/bonnet/engine covering doo hicky.

yeah the supra is a mad car, especially the turbo lag, makes for a more exciting ride! i have actually never seen a targa top in the UK before, so maybe they are only rare to certain places? i cant see the piccies but the bonnet/hood is probably aftermarket.

Must be an thrill to drive a Supra, even it may 'only' have 450 bhp in normal mode. You should advice your friend to put other rims on the car. I really don't like these standard ones.

lol its funny how you say only because 450bhp is a considerable amount! for example, my car (not mentioning it  ) only has 66bhp!!!
