fishfreek (Saddam) you had no right to lock the topic. this community has a voice and it needs to be heard. your right it takes 30 minutes for some people but not for all. then you have to watch it. which takes an hour. then you have to go back again and watch it so that you can do a decent review. thats about 3 hours average buddy...dont make me laugh

i agree about that, you d/l it, 30 min, then watch it, 1hr, then review 10-15min, that isnt a small amount of time, i will try it for group A and will have to sacrifice somethings, but no need to lock his topic.

I dowload the videos while im in school , then when i have time i watch the episodes , lets say i see the bit of the Convertibles , then i hit pause and write 4 or 5 lines about what i think of that , and what catch my attention , and that way till the video is over . Takes me 30% more than the video lenght , so its not that bad man , come on , you have an entire week to review ...

for me it takes atleast a half an hour to download. i only download top gear really. thats an hour long episode. then i go back again and watch it and try to find interesting things to comment about which takes almost and hour. multiply that times 5.

Top gear is the only 1 hour program , you can still review that and the 5th gear one that are the most popular and get into the B group , and download the videos on saturday , is fair enuf

your looking at 3-4 hours of just watching them. maybe its because i am american i dont have that kind of time. besides who wants to be second rate pato do you? all that i am pissed because fishfreek was acting like saddam and not letting people tell what they really feel. that tells me that he doesnt care about what the community has to say. what kind of administrator is like that.

Thats why I created this topic. Fishfreek is in vien! He created more bandwidth by doing that. How much bandwidth does a poll use up anyway? Probably the least out of anything on the site.

Don't think writing reviews is that hard. If you're in group A/B, you're going to download and watch the videos anyway. If you're a jeremy/tiff/vicki fan like most of us here, you'll be downloading top gear/5th gear weekly. Reviews for the 2 shows are enough to give a group B status! Don't be a freeloader, give something in return!

If you don't like to do reviews, you can always download the highlights from RF at a much slower speed :)

I have time now , but on exams period (3 weeks more ) i will go into group B again cuz i wont have the time , i dont work just study thats why i have some free time , is just a matter of scheduling , this site is free , they ask you to review to get the stuff , and it costs money too . At least post what you think can be a solution , not just attack ppl and say the DL rules are not fair ...

U want to get into a pissing match with me then thats fine. But I do suggest you learn one thing. Dont make such accusations that are so unfounded you might as well stick your foot in your mouth. We as admins and mods dont ahve to do anything but click a simple button tolock a thread. The fact that my reply or any others reply to a topic was the last before the topic was locked and using that logic toward who locked it is just about as lame an excuse as I have ever heard.


But one thing is for certin. I am locking this topic because your getting absolutly no where with this.

Now im off to watch and review the Shoot Out DVD.
