I wanted to go widecreen gaming.
Got it today, damn nice screen.

Here its next to my 17'' Samsung 172x, still the best 17" around but the 20" is damn big! One bad note is that the larger resolution 1600x1050 does take its tax on your graphics power, countered it by overclocking my graphics card :)

Wow nice monitor, I was going to get one also, $1,000AU right??
I bought this Samsung Syncmaster 193T 19" Black monitor nearly 8months ago now, Its great so far. But that widescreen 20" looks the business.

I'm all for Apple but you'd have better value for money if you went with the Dell HD displays. Either that or a bigger display at the same price point.
Oh yeah with have the exact same color MX510.

That 20" looks superb. I am quite jealous and checkign my current account!
Saying that, if I can get a long enough DVI cable...Imagine HL/Doom/CS on a 42" plasma... :P

That 20" looks superb. I wish I had money to upgrade to a flat screen. Someday...someday...
What graphics card are you running?

Bah bastard. I so wanted the 22" cinema display, but that costs more than my computer .
So how is it relative to your old Samsung?
@sikx5-Got it for $1100AU, not bad, still expensive but its cool though.
@evoWALO-Dell is defiantly better value, they are both the same screen-LG But I liked the finish and it defiantly doesn’t feel/look as cheap as a Dell.
The mouse, they only make it that color or something? I bought it at 1/2 price and there was a whole pile of em in the one color, I wanted silver or black.
@ thamar –yeah or CamperStrike as I call it.
@TransAm2001- don’t think theres a GFX card that can power doom 3 on 42”!!! It running shite on a 17"!
@ MBDriver- Mine is a AMD 64bit 3000+, 1G RAM, Radeon ATI x800pro vivo 256M(hacked to XT 16 active pipelines), audilogy 2 sound card hooked up digitial DTS 5.1 home theater set up (DB Dynamics audio), you can see the center, left main and 10" subwoofer.
Standard DVi connector, no drivers or anything. Plug and play. Whats cool is that it only has one cord, that has at the end; DVI, power, USB and Firewire. Also the screen has a internal USB and Firewire hub, so that really one cord from the PC and you can hook up USB mouse and USB keyboard to the screen.
@ crazidude- They quote 16ms on the website, from what I’ve seen so far no image blurring so far. Response is as good as my “old” Samsung 172x Syncmaster running on DVi, which was the best montior-last year! (Fken PC are as bad as cars sometimes for burning money )
@ Ronin005- Widescreen only for games and movies, the web is all 4:3 ratio.

It also comes in blue. How's the ms of your screen? I found it a bit high that's why I didnt bother getting it.

Very nice, Apple always had one of the best industrial design teams around.
