Toyota - one of the most difficult brands to catch testing, was spotted earlier this week testing a pre-production Camry. Even with tape covering the sheetmetal, the car is easy to identify and even easier to make out most of its lines and contours.
Toyota will launch the '07 Camry early - possibly as early as January of 2006, making it one of the first 2007 models on the road. In addition to the expected in-line four and V-6 engines, Toyota is expected to offer a hybrid powerplant to the Camry lineup - with nearly 48,000 Camry hybrids expected to be built at Toyota's Georgetown, Ky., plant.

Well I can't tell much from these shots, but it can't get any worse than the current model, aesthetically...

It looks strikingly similar to my Accord. If that's what sells...
Look at the headlights, triangular. The tail lights are also thin bars wrapping around the trunk. The C pillar is very similar especially with how thick it is.
My wonder is if Toyota really will remake the Supra--I know we've heard it before, but it just doesn't look like it's coming with what they're releasing, especially when they've aimed at being the new clean manufacturer.
I think in a few Camry generations, Honda and Toyota are going to release their new models, and they'll look the same.

I seriously doubt that Toyota will make a supra again. They'll probably come out with a sports car some where along the line, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Also, with gas prices being as high as they are, I don't think we'll see any v8s or turbo charged 6s when the sports car comes out.
Honda, Toyota and Nissan have released cars that look the freaking same before. In the mid to early 80's, the all of their cars looked practically the same, and the economy versions (civic, sentra, corolla) were just smaller versions of the accord, maxima/altima, and camry. I can never tell the difference between them when I see them on the street.

Meh...I hope they've actually bothered to change somethings with the interior. The current version is pathetic...the dashboard is made of tacky wood-imitating plastic and the whole thing has a very cheap feel to it. And although it's big there isn't all that much rear leg room. My dads friends has it as a company car and so he lends it to us from time to time when he's abroad.

Seems like the new camry looks exactly like the current gen honda Accord (american spec) and hyundai Sonata. It's so boring, the test driver fall asleep at the wheel
