The first and the penultimate have the most powerful message i think. Still....some good ads there. Of course, some might say fear inducement is perhaps not the best way to teach road safety...but i'm not one of them :(

This advert is shown in the austrian TV.
They say something like" Your daughter is your whole luck. You would do anything for her, but you don´t do. Too much people die because of not using a seatbelt. Seatbelts safe life".

I think this brutal advertisement is the only way to get people using their seatbelts

True, its not "cool" not to use seatbelt, it can save your life. Many people who had crashes and had seatbelts on can poove it I think, I saw couple of them saying that on TV after crash.

These Irish ads proved to be very effective
BUT: when they tried to air them here in Israel, the ads were taken off the air on the second day saying that they were too offensice because of what they show... :? Stupid assholes....

Certainly effective to a degree but a huge improvement over the adverts we used to have which were very subtle. I believe the idea to be so graphic came from the australian "slow down" ad's which bluntly showed someone getting run over and we just copied.

Extremelly good advertisement campaign...a little rough and violent for some people, but incredibly effective as well. Well..let's just say that a lot ot the road accidents can be like that...or even worse, much worse...

yup agreed with u bro.....if lot of people are watching this ads..i'm sure they will think about it when it comes to driving..

good for you on the first part... but, honestly, i can never understand why somebody would not want to wear the seatbelt??? for one, i think it helps keep me more planted during more extream manuvers, and more able to control the machine... not to mention, safety in an accident.

here in Britain we have the !THINK campaign which since its launch a few years ago, has been quite effective imo. everytime an advert has come on i have watched with prying eyes :shock: its amazing how hard hitting they can be. wish people would wear seat belts. obviously its up to them, but imagine the consequences of your actions if you dont......
