well, if guys knew that this happend in few seconds - not even minute:

I'm walking on the Park Lane, just turn around and BANG - CGT just passed me, so I have no chance to turn my cam on and "shoot". SH*T!!! such a shame!!! when I was turning back, BANG - SLR was just leaving the other road right in front of me. I had no chance to "shoot" CGT, but my cam was now on, so I shot the SLR :D . we made about 20 steps and we passed "just regular" CLS 500 and right in front of one hotel I saw sharp red nose between Phaeton and Range... BANG - my 2nd Enzo, but first on the road!!!

that was most exciting minute in my life (sex is not included :mrgreen: )

The cool thing is a friend of mine, was in London begin this week and last weekend, and he spotted quite a few of the same cars as youd did (for instance the Enzo). This means quite a lot of those cars are there on a daily basis. Must be just great to see them one after another.

Standing for 10-15 minutes on the bus stop and seeing 10-15 exotics as ferraris, porsches, tvrs, jags etc was my experince in London about 7 years ago. Even not in the center but somewere on the side road near Wimbldone. Great place for car sights indeed :P

I asked about this gallardo at another car dealer and they told me, that this is just the show car, which will NEVER be use on the road as a police car :( .... well, that interior picture is right from that police gallardo, so you can see no transmitters and stuff which officers would need...

Today I was on my first photoshoot... it was Peugeot 206 GTi in black. the weaher was ugly, typical English, so the sky is just shitty grey :( . we also couldn't find any location, so we stopped on the small grass car park by the golf course. here is just one picture, I have to edit the others later. thanks to Dingo for great idea of the visible bonnet :wink:

this picture is actually made of 3 pics... I don't know, how works your polarizers, but mine makes just a small line of "job", sometime it doesn't even cover all the windscreen, so it's from 1 polarised side, 1 polarised front and 1 of the opened hood...

It depends also from the way the windscreen is shaped. On some cars, and with some light conditions (especially when cloudy, with light coming from everywhere), it's handy to use two pics. A couple of times I did the same, first pic to kill reflections on the windscreen, second to kill them on the side of the car, but it's annoying after a while :D

I wanted to try my camera for the nightshots and when I opened the pics in my laptop, I just managed, that taking pics on the "tungsten" mode is useless and is good enough to take them on the "nightportrait" mode :? I took pics just of these four cars, the SLK 320 is taken on the nightshot mode, the rest is on the tungsten mode...

a few mins ago, when I finished my work and went home, the orange Murci Roadster passed me by!!! he had to roll on 1st gear, cos I couldn't hear anything else on the street, just that engine :shock: :!: it was already night, so I basically saw just the contours, but it was just amazing to see Murci going slow (about just 20km/h) and hear only the revs!!! and that wide.... :faint: :drool: :love:

The front air dam is different. The M5 one has a mesh, where as the aero kit has a T - Divider. And of course the Mirrors are different.

Oh sorry, beeing that big I thought it was the size at which you shoot them. 1600x1200 is already a bit too big to save some borderline situations and the best obviously for slightly blurry pics is 1024x768. At that size most of the time you can't see the blurriness anymore.. well, we are still talking about very light blur anyway...

when I went from work, I've seen it again. I wanted to take a pic, but the owner just came with his employees (gave them lift home :shock: :drool: ) and I asked him, if I can take a pic. he wasn't against, he just gave me a smile and waited about 5 secs. but my camera was set for 30 secs, so while I was taking picture, they jumped into the M5 and left. You can see opened doors and if you will have a look at the licence plate, you will see how it went lower after every guy sat in :mrgreen: . sorry for the color, I had no time to re-set the camera from "day" to "night" :bah: but still cool pic imo :D

As for PS, IMO for the contest we should stick to usual manipulations ;) just to keep it "real". Of course if you just want to change the frame adding black sky on top and cropping at the bottom in ok, but don't try to dump the car(s) at the back ;)

finally another update :D - this time from january, the day before I went to Czech. here's a little story - my house mate woke me up saying, that he saw some new silver ford in town. he said it looks very brutal as a ford, small, smashed to the ground, air intakes on the hood, exhausts to the side. after few questions and thinking he said it definitelly had elipse badge (just like a ford). but the clue - elipse badge, air intakes and exhausts were telling me "IT'S a SAGARIS!!!" so I showed him my pics of my scale model and he said "yes, that's that ford" :lol: so I took my camera and went to town for a hunt. yep, exactly as you say TT, but in those both porsche pictures the slightly purple color is actually wanted and I just love it :D . the M3 was quick shot, because it was in front of the hotel, so I didn't want to make anybody pissed... and when I lastly found the EVO, I switched the white ballance to Tungsten. but even with that I had to lower green color in PS though... yes, it was more green, than yellow :hmm:

Thanks for a new load! nice light in those pics! For the noise in panning shots, are you sure you blocked the ISO setting at its min? I always noticed an higher ISO gives way more noise in a panning shot rather than a "classic" one. So I always try to be at ISO 100 when shooting them. And also, I noticed there are cameras that always seem to give noise in panning shots.. no idea if it's again related to ISO or just the sensor quality..

Uhm.. noise shouldn't be related directly to the filter. Of course the darker a picture the easier to spot it if there is some, and with a filter you generaly risk to get a bit darker pics than usually, probably it's up to the camera, but no idea how to explain it. As for the colors, never had problems with Hoya filters, which aren't really "that" expensive afterall

yes, def 22B, I was amazed how wide it is. you can't see it from that crappy pic at all... I wasn't sure if it's just P1 or 22B, so I went to back of the car and there was just the badge saying 22B :wink: I wouldn't be so happy, if it was "just" P1 which is rare as well...

and look at the licence plate saying R22 WRC (he proly couldn't have B22 WRC...) :wink:

I love the P1, although that colour isn't the best IMO - close parking too. :shock:

well the P1 colour is usual subaru colour, just the pics are taken after midnight, so there's different street light and I never hit the right settings in PS also :bah:

same goes for the 2002. check the colour in the night and the day time... totally different
