I have to damit I would rather live with that one than the other 2 I don't know why but that is my 2nd favorite Ferrari 1st being a 550 Barchetta. I love the sound of the HGTC also.

I like the 'GT' Ferraris like the 612, 575 and 456 more than the mid engined Ferraris to be honest. I mean, I'd not scoff at any Ferrari, they are all lovely cars I just prefer the extra 4 cylinders and what I percieve as the more 'relaxed' environment of the cabin when the engine isnt next to your ear! Given the funds I would not under any circumstances buy the 456GTA though, it'd have to be the GT manual!

Thanks for the pics as always Mike

wow, nice pics, i love the looks of the 575. I think that they are good cars, but i would still prefer the less expensive 360 or F430.

haha Michael Jordan had both a 456 GTA and 456 GT probably one for the wife, he sold them both though. Honestly I would take the GTA if I had to.

Thanks Mike, nice pictures of one of Ferrari's truly beautiful cars. :D

I don't notice any of the normal side-effects of using a polarizer filter that you see in the windows/headlights, do you know why? :?

Indeed, two similar shots and while in his one there is nothing in the lights' cover:

In mine there is the usual aura you can spot in most polarized pics:

My guess is that maybe different manufacturers filter have different results ... :?:

Or maybe Mike's isn't a circular polarizer? I never used a linear one and no idea if the result would be different :bah:

wow congrats dude .... its awsome ... one of my fav ferrari's ever .......
.. dont you ever get bored of ferrari's ? lol:mrgreen:
what i like more then a red 575 is a matte black 575 8) ....

imo .. the way i know polorizers is ... ummm take it off thecamera ... point it towards the light look through and rotate it .. u'll see tht the intensity of light changes ..... soo maybe mike is using a polorizer tht dosnt stay at one postitin .. as in its variable .. maybe .... hope yea know wat im talking about ..

TT

Yes that's what I thought, maybe you can't rotate a linear one and it's "standard" setting simply doesn't create the strange effect..
actually to have to rotate the filter every time is the only downside, especially since it is hard to see when it is in the perfect position through the viewfinder, and to always take it off the camera, look through it and attach it again would be a PITA :D
anyway, no big deals, Mike's filter can get rid or reflections and glares so it's all good :D

every sort of polorizer imo should give tht light intensity effect thingy...... :D
well if u find the best position u wont ahve to take it of the cam again and again ....
soo imo .... Mike .. go out .. take take with different positions .. see the best result and some how keep it on tht position :) ... and offcorse show us all the pics ...
but then again .. if u learn how the polorizer works in different light conditions ... yer pics would be crips and crystal ....

well if u find the best position u wont ahve to take it of the cam again and again ....

Wrong! The perfect position if perfect only for that angle. Walk two steps to the left or to the right and the angles completely change (angle formed by you, light source and the car's surface): for every single pic you need to adjust it for perfect results ;)

:P
do you also ahve to rotate it again and again ... lol .. i though u ahd a still one ..

I don't even know if "still ones" exists.. maybe linear ones, but in that case I don't see how it could work as good as the one you rotate yourself in the best position.

To be able to rotate it is fundamental: by removing the reflections on the top surfaces you will most likely increase the ones on the side of the car, so it's very usefull to be able to balance this the best way you can by moving the filter a few degress to one side or the other

Wow!! Amazing car. Your putting your new camera to good use :D

But as already suggested earlier you could try taking pics while crouching down, the results are much better IMO.

The filter that i have is adjustable, on that particular day is was really really sunny so for every pic i rotated the filter until there was the least amount of reflection.

Heres the filter that i have if ur interested

hmm k ... well u'll need to take lotsa pics to get used to the adjustments and all .... well good luck with it 8)

anyway .. i guessing the color on the 575 is rosso corsa ...
the ic would be better if the color was rosso scuderia ......
corsa ......made cuz of schumi
scudria ....made fro good pics 8)

Thanks for sharing the pictures dude!
I saved some of the detail shots , the 575 is not my favourite model

interesting discussion about the polarizer,..., I have to find one for my new camera and try it out
