Oh man!

Didn't want to say it before, but your old camera is crap in comparison to this new one. The Enzo looks so much better with the Rebel cam, i cannot wait to see the full stable of prancing horses 8)

Thanks as always for sharing your pics with us. I bet your dad is counting the days 'til you get your drivers license!!!

If it's not a rude question, have you any ideas what you might get as your first car, bugdaboy?

Marvellous, but they would be perfect if you would buy a polarizer filter for your new toy :D

It's just a filter you plug on your lense. And once you will use it, it will be impossible to take pics without it anymore :D

in your pics you can see the sky reflecting on the car, very obviously when cloudy.

In this pic taken with the filter, you can see on the windshield there is absolutely no reflection whatsoever ;)

it is very helpfull also to remove glares on chromed surfaces or windows and so on.

All my recent meetings pics were taken with the filter and you can see the difference IMO

trying to find a similar pic but not much luck LOL

Great pics, Mike, thanks for sharing them!! One defenitely can see an improvement compared to your previous pics. But as TT said, you should buy a polarizing filter to improve your pics even more.

that new cam is quite an improvement. can't wait for some new F50 & Enzo shots now :D

Can't say that I can agree with TT on the polorize filter, though, as I like to see reflections on cars as you would in real life. Like in the 3rd thumbnailed pic you posted on this thread, the reflections of the sky add a lot to the image I feel 8)

great choice in camera, budagboy, and as TT said, the polarizer is really a nessesity with high-optics cameras... i think mine was about $25, so not that terribly expensive.
to me, the choice was between the canon 350d, and the 20d; but really, they are very similar cameras.

also, do you have a tri-pod yet? another great tool :)

Yes, I admit sometimes it is cool to have reflections, but most of the time, if you want to proprely see the car, you need to use the filter ;)

When it comes to a polarisation filter; Go for a B&W circular one (Schneider optics) it are the best.

http://www.schneideroptics.com/filters/filters_for_still_photography/polarizers/

So if you are into buying one go for the B+W Circular Polarizer or the B+W Kaesemann Polarizer the latter one is even more expensive :D

Congrats with your new DSLR... Good luck with it

Before I forget, stunning pix mate!!! Red is a very thankfull color, that Enzo looks so nice it forms a nice contrast with the background.

Keep it up
