Ok, I hope this hasn't been done yet... *looks around the room*
So, post any cars you've driven that were 'exceptional' and 'fun'. No need to post that grandmas Lada unless it truly was an exceptional car to drive ;)
So here's my list, minus all the MB saloons, SUV's and so on. Do note I'm a roadster fan, so even if I didn't like the drive, I've listed all roadsters and convertibles I could think of:
Aston Martin Vanquish
Audi TT (forgot engine size)
BMW M3
BMW Z4 (several engine sizes)
Chrysler Crossfire (standard and convertible)
Honda S2000
Jaguar XKR
Jaguar S-Type
Maserati Cambio Corsa
Mazda Miata (1.8 )
Mazda RX8 (larger engine)
MG MGF (larger engine)
MB CLK (several engine sizes)
MB SLK (several engine sizes, both old and new model)
MB SL (several engine sizes)
Opel Speedster (slower model)
Peugeot 206 CC (1.8 )
Porsche 993 (500hp engine)
Porsche Boxster S
Smart Roadster (even brabus)
Subaru Impreza (not STI, one of the older models, but turbo)
Toyota MR2 (the new roadster, not the older model)
Sadly, whilst I've sat in Ferraris, I've never driven one :( but I'd probably die if I did, so I'll wait until I'm an old fart and buy one instead :p I probably forgot several.
Your turn!
Well there was a similar post some time ago in the "what do you drive" section I think.
Actually as you might have noticed we are a bit sensible when ppl start to make claims without providing proofs :D
Not saying I don't believe you (especially since, thanks to you, in my list there is now an SLK55), just wanting to say in such topics, quite often, ppl post bullshit :roll:
But well, I think we must live with it :D

Fiat Uno 45 S - first car I've driven. Very special car, I really miss it...
Fiat Brava 80 16V;
Fiat Punto 1.2 16V (the old one);
Fiat Stilo MW 1.9 JTD MultiJet;
Nissan Bluebird;
Citroen ZX.
All the Fiats are or were owned by my parents, except the Punto which is from my aunt. The Nissan and the Citroen are from uncles too. And from those, the Brava was by far the best to drive.

TT: I understand, and of course in situations like this, one could easily say that they've driven X, Y and Z...
But I'm hoping it starts another type of conversation, maybe to compare cars and their behaviour between different people =) I've only driven a 'few' supercars, most of the other cars being in the cheaper convertible range. I just love roadsters and stuff, and I tend to get a lot of invitations to test drive cars (thanks to my dad). But having said that, I have NOT driven a Ferrari not a Lamborghini, so I'm still down in the ball park player :p
bmwmpower: The Aston was VERY nice. Powerful, but it's also heavy, so it didn't surprisingly feel all that different from my current car (lighter and bit less powerful, but it pretty much evens out). It's a grand tourer all right, but too expensive *cry* How was the 645ci? It seems like such a HUGE car =) was it any fun?

TT, if you had driven that " boat" you would understand... HEHHEEH seriously, ive learned to drift in road bends cause this car was an absolut sailing boat !!
and if it was exceptional, many of the cars i wrote are shit!!! LOooooLLLL!!
But who has drive an HF Integrale ??? :D :D
We are talking in a general way here. Of course for somebody living in the middle of Sahara for 50 years, driving a Fiant Panda 30 cv must be great fun, but sorry, a Uno, in a general way is NOT an exception car at all :bah:

Yup. It was a silver one that was bought in Japan and shipped here by a guy in the Navy. I had to do a heater hose recall on it upgrade a thrmostatic bypass valve at the firewall and reroute a hose) so i had to go zip it around the block a couple times to make sure i had everything tightened and bled :D

The only training cars we were allowed by BMW to take beyond the fence regularly were the 745Li and E46 M3 SMG. Reason being was to get familiar with handling, functions etc. Each class got to take them out.
Some of the other cars left the compound too, but just to get fuel (740iL and 540it wrre two trips i went on) The M Roadster we had wasn't allowed to leave because there was no registration on it since it's the car that Road and Track stuffed in the wall while they were testing it around PIR.
We actually had 3 Z4s, one was the pre pro which had no registration for obvious reasons, the other was an SMG and the other a 6 spd. Before i graduated BMW took the E34, the pre-pro Z4 and one of the E46 wagons, if i remember right.
our 540is wasn't registered either since it fell off the transport when it was getting delivered to a dealership, so BMW wrote it off and left it as a trainer. :bah:

dad who works for Ford ;)
he had to bring them home to devise some safety and reliability improvements to each... even though they shared many parts to the existing Lincoln LS, but there were quite a few strange problems with the car; luckily all were solved before official production began
by the way, ive driven the 05 Roush Stage 1 today; basically... more grip asosiated with the tires, with minor suspension changes... more weighty steering, and similar accelleration feel---GREAT!
