same idea, and prolly some of the same parts, but i think they would have reenforced the tranny and some other SMG parts to handle the extra power over the M3.

yea i think the new M5 is gonna be absolutely amazing, assuming the improvements of this one over the current one were as huge as the current one was over the previous one

these are all very old pics, the M5 will have a v-10 and a nice revin one at that, and will as of now ONLY come with the SMG 7spd, said to b first shown at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2004, (that i am going to this year :D)

The M5 is the world best sport sedan. I would take it over any AMG or R type jag.

The front is excellent but I think the rear of the car still hasn't grown onto me yet... The four exhuasts is a nice shape tho

^ well they don't know for shure BMW isn't sayin anything about it, just the ones that have been seen have been SMG, As for the Back and side of the car, it is covered in thick tape and plastic so u can't see the shape, if u look on the front fender it will have m3 style grill

7 speed? and Only come with SMG?? That will disappoint most car enthusiasts. Certainly Jeremy and Tiff would have words on it if it's really the case.
