currently I have a Gateway with Pentium 4 and I need more memory space. Can someone recommend me to what kind/brand of hardware I should get? :)

Cruicial are pretty well known. Check the "Memory Advisor™ Tool".

There needs to be some clarity to your post. You say "memory space", but do you want more memory or space? Two different things. Memory would be your RAM and space would be what's on your Harddrive.

Since memory is measured in MegaBytes, he refered to it as "space"...I think :?
The topic title suggests he wants to purchase RAM.

Ok...what I need is more space since Ive used up alot of my memory. I would like to add more space so I wont have to keep erasing to clear up space :D

Ah - you are confusing operating memory with disk storage space (unless of course you are using a special device with some type of hybrid solid state memory storage - which some how I doubt.. ;))

From the above comment I am deducing you want, to put it in layman's term more C: drive... is this true? ;)

If you want more space you need to buy a hard-drive. Most of the Gateways can support the 2 hard-drives. If you want more ram, go to Best Buy. It is fairly inexpensive, and increases the speed of your computer
