My S4 was $28k...and I needed the Quattro for work...this is a C4...but damn...I couldn't daily drive a Porsche...but if only my life circumstances were right:

Your chance to own a very low mileage (36,000 miles only) 964 body style C4 coupe. In my opinion, these are the best looking 911's as they still have the classic body style but have a more modern feel when driven if compared to the 1988 and older models. For more information on this body style...visit http://www.porsche964.co.uk/home.htm

Car has not been repainted and is in amazing stock condition. Has a small ding on the rear bumper that I haven't had fixed as I didn't want any part of the car repainted (stray shopping cart). The only thing I changed is the wheels and they are the original Turbo 964 wheels that are very hard to get. Tires have less than 5000 miles on them.

The interior of the car is in immaculate shape. Leather does not appear worn (even the side bolsters show no wear). Leather is treated every 60 days.

This car has never been in a car wash.

The car looks pretty good, but for me the 993 is the best looking 911.
As you have said though the Audi is a more practical daily car than this 911, keep saving and buy it as a weekend car. :D

BTW, not sure but this might be more suitable in the Porsche section.

Well, a collegue just bought a 993 Carrera 2 as a daily driver - and like most of the Porkers around town it has the Turbo wing, wheels and stuff - seems it isn't easy to buy a used P-Car in Houston that isn't kitted with higher model cosmetics.

But any way, the moral of the story is that your fav carcan always be a daily driver.

If you can aford it, never put off getting your fav car and practicality be damned. :)

That way when you are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, you can glance at the "practical" driver next to you and smirk - because you are enjoying your commute .... :P

lol buy the audi.

porche has higher insurense cost. matenence cost, ect.

and for only 36k miles, the car is too cheap of a price. no one pays 80k then 12 years later sells it for 29k. there must be something wrong with it. but the s4 for 27k is a fair price. and they only have "problems" because the owners run them into the ground. take good care of ur audi and it will serve u well :)

You're talking out your arse, 29k is about the right price and 60% depreciation is actually pretty good over a period of 12 years - most cars take only 3-6 years to deprciate to a 1/3 of the initial value

^^^ If you can - treat yourself with a Porker as a daily driver. :)

Daily driving what you enjoy will let you begin to look forward to your daily commute - as I do... everyday. :P
