I am not at all a fan of that bodystyle. I have always thought it to be one of the ugliest cars on the road. I do like what they've done with the motor though.

Over here, florida, its the new impalas. They sold old impalas I think. Ive only seen new ones. My friend bought a used cop impala with corvette engine.

Well - again if you were a hotrod fan, you would have done like the rest of us and blocked the fact that a V6 front wheel drive carries the Impala name and even exists from your mind - and the 1996 Impala all came with the LT1 Corvette motor - that's what made the revival of the Impala name plate acceptable in 1996.

The "new" shape is like the Malibu, a large piece of crap.. :P

If I read the article in hotrod correctly they got the motor from a company making race engines for off shore boats. I would like to see someone incorporate some other tech into it too. I realize that a variable timing quadcam big block would be ultra expensive and very exotic but we can still dream I guess. The guys wife sounds like a pip too

mine has to have the two antennas on the rear though. I think they look stupid with only the one. Which isn't to say i couldn't just add the second one :D
