'Corpse' punches doctor

Romania - Hospital officials in Romania are investigating after a "corpse" in the morgue punched a doctor.

The doctor had to be treated for shock after he was punched by teenager Bogdan Georgescu.

The youngster, 16, had been taken to the morgue at Brasov County Hospital after collapsing and showing no signs of life.

He was declared dead on arrival and his body moved to the morgue.

The teen said: "I woke up and had no idea where I was, I looked to the left and to the right and saw a dead woman on either side of me, and then I saw this man coming towards me in a white coat.

"I just panicked. I thought he was going to kill me."

The youngster, from Fagaras, is now being treated in the neurological ward to find the cause of his collapse.

He said: "The last thing I remember is drinking coffee with my brother, and then I woke up in the morgue." - Ananova.com

Sometimes the heartbeat is too weak for the machines to pick up, which is why they probably sent him to the morgue instead of the ICU. It's realy rare that this happens though so it's not like the doc would have been waiting for it..but i'll bet he will be now :lol:

i would think that the skin not being scally and hit chest raising and lowering would be a dead giveaway.

I have a dead person phobia, if i had woken up to that, i wouldnt be in the neurological ward, i would have stayed right there where i was, cause of death: heart attack...time of death: 10 seconds ago. seriously.

no to that too. when the heart rate drops to where the machines can't pick it up, so does the resperation rate. he wasn't breathing hard enough to expand his chest.
